Yes, I agree with you the flowers look more like lupins & the pink colour too. Lavender has purple and smaller flowers. But the painting is still beautiful!
I thought the same thing. Lavender doesn't look like that at all, the leaves are completely different. There are some cultivars that are pink colour but to me it doesn't look like a lavender. I looks more like lupins
