@aditi3374 yes Kerala has lot of food varieties but to explore them you shouldn't keep your sightseeing to limitation like only Munnar Thekkady Alleppey etc

Thts rice flour roti very common in coastal regions of india starting from.khonkan to south of india.
Its best combination is with fish .

Kerala has incredible food in every district, but North Kerala- Malabar region is especially famous for its biriyanis and assorted snacks and sweets. Although I am from the Malabar region, I feel like I haven't eaten even half of all that is out there in my region.

Fantastic start of the Kerala food series. The beach is magnificent and the food looks delicious. For me Kerala visit is incomplete without the famous Banana chips and as you have covered it in the first episode of the food series I am so happy. Can't wait for the upcoming videos. 💖💖💖💖

You must visit Bombay Hotel at Silk Street!!!
There were a lot more evening snacks to try. You only had pazham nirachathu or stuffed banana. Other evening snacks to try are Unnakaya, Ela ada, Elanchi, mutta maala, chatti pathiri, erachi pathiri, chicken bun etc. You'll get these in Zains or in Bombay Hotel if you go at around 4pm. Don't go too late. They get over soon.
In Calicut, you should also try other sea food like mussels, crabs and cockles.

You should try that biryani with that coconut chutney and papad . In between that pickle which
Made from dates. Paragon and sagar are keeping the consistency from years . Also you need to try fry patari and duck from there. Chilli porotta from Tamilnadu. Also you missed avil milk ( rice flakes milk) and kerala samosa which not using potatao from beach .

The chicken they use is leghorn which is layer breed , and it is hard and never soft..the reason is the meat is more flavourful like country chicken..

In Kozhikode, we don't use chilli powder in biriyani. we use green chilli and crushed or powdered pepper.
Please visit the lunch houses in Calicut if you happen to visit the next time to name a few Amma mess , Ambika mess ,Amma hotel .. You should try Fish fry meals
im born and bought up in uae,my father once decide to take me back to my ancestral place ,and he is from calicut.feroke.i wasnt happy at all when he decided that.but when i rchd there,this place was someting else...awesome.....
