Quick question bro and I hope you can reply to me. So when I turn my 08 Honda accord on it shakes ig from the front. Is the a motor mount problem?

I wonder if this is the same way for a 2013 accord 2.4. I replaced the top 2 and front super easy. But this video gives me hope to do the rear and lower driver side.

Today i replaced the rear engine motor mount and now there is a bit of smoke coming out from behind the engine? Any idea what could be the reason?

@@RBTheMechanic I did spill wd-40 so looks like this was the issue, now it's not happening anymore since I cleaned it up. I changed all 4 mounts except for the front one because didn't have time for it. Vibrations decreased a lot ,mostly gone, now after replacing the rear one, I notice some weird noise when decelerating or when lifting foot off the gas pedal, sounds like a plastic straw being pulled up through the plastic lid of a soft drink cup from a fast food restaurant! Maybe because I need to change the front one too?

RB: For the rear motor mount, on my 2009 Accord LX-P (2.4 liter), I'm unable to get a socket (shallow, deep well, swivel) on the passenger side bolt due to the rear engine mount bracket (OEM Part #50610-TA0-A00) "nub" directly over the bolt head. The "nub" houses the threaded hole for the one "horizontal" bolt that goes through the center of the mount. Anyway, your video seems to show enough distance between the bolt head and the nub to get a swivel socket on the bolt. How? I'm assuming you really lifted/jacked the engine to create the distance? I'm a bit fearful of jacking the engine too much, for fear of crushing/distorting the oil pan (yes, I have a block of wood between the floor jack and the oil pan). Instead of a shallow swivel socket, perhaps a crows foot (with sufficient length extension(s)) would work? I appreciate your input Sir!

Remove take out the bolts from the mount under the air filter housing then jack up the engine and trans u should have enough space

Thank you Sir! Conceptually, that makes sense. And I'll be able to thoroughly inspect the upper transmission mount this way.

Great video thank you. I'm about to attempt this, is there no motor mount on the driver's side? Or is it called a transmission mount on the driver side?
