Because every video could be a first video for someone who is trying to heal themselves, I will be posting this on every video I watch on this topic. The benefits I’ve enjoyed since adopting the Carnivore way of eating (in no particular order): Excess weight gone, improved sleep, mental clarity, able to remember why I went into another room, varicose veins disappeared, sun and stove burns don’t hurt and are gone the next day, hardly any plaque and no bleeding gums at the dentist, rosacea gone, acne gone, mood improvement, joint pain gone, cravings gone, ankle swelling gone, cracked heels gone, and I never feel “hangry”
I am also LMHR and my gyn is who said get a reg pcp, which I don't really have bc like you don't need to be seeing the dr all that often. Just my yearly gyn. I am 52 , weigh 115, meat based and TC of 361, LDL 249. All the other markers are beautiful, hs-crp 0.2....but I do have an appt with a PCP who thankfully I fond via another keto friend is pro keto/real food etc, and he's in my provider network.....bummer part of it, can't get in until March. I'll thrive until then. Thanks for sharing your story! Take care :)
Glad you found a provider who will work with you! That is awesome. You will definitely thrive until March. You're right, I don't go that often. I only started this round of doctor visits to get baseline numbers, and now want to work on my thyroid health after seeing that number. Thankfully my new doc did a bigger range of tests!
I'm so glad you are getting a low carb doctor. With my GP being carnivore it's been invaluable. I never cared about high cholesterol after having studied natural medicine and seeing an acupturist in his 90s who said high cholesterol was good for you. How do you go with your siblings, your family? Do they pressure you? I have some vegetarian brothers and sisters who don't support carnivore. Have a great day. Sending love your way. ❤
That's so cool that someone told you cholestoerol was necessary in the 90's!! One of my siblings goes carnivore periodically, but doesn't stick to it permenantly as he says he loses too much weight. The other eats a SAD diet, but doesn't say anything to me about how I eat. We ate lunch together a couple of weeks back and I just got a big plate of chicken wings.
I will not tell my doctor what I am eating etc apart from the fact I'm NOT an alcoholic, I'm NOT a sugar addict, I have never smoked,, my low triglycerides, my smaller clothing size, my weight loss should prove I'm healthy. My higher LDL is NOT dangerous because I am at no risk of diabetes because my glucose has always been normal.
Glad to hear you are in such good health! My doc didin't even want to test my A1C except that I pressed her to check it. It was 4.7. All my other numbers were great even by conventional standards, but my LDL was over 500. That really freaked her out. She wanted me to change my diet or go on a statin based on that one number. Stay tuned for the video about my experience with my new doctor.
Love these kinds of videos. You're a fantastic story-teller. I am looking forward to hearing how your first appointment went. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much Ellie! You know I will keep you updated!
@@MeatingWellness You better!! Haha

I appreciate your support so much! It means the world. Wow, those benefits are incredible! I love never feeling "hangry". I don't miss those days!
Im so glad you found a low carb doc in our area. I should go online and see if Kaiser has one listed!
I hope you find one! I don't have Kaiser so mine won't work for you, unfortunately.
I fired mine in 1996!
Good for you Rick!
Love that you took control 👍 Good luck and thank you for sharing, Cristie - we need to hear experiences like this!
Thanks Susie! I'll keep you posted on how the new doc is working out!
Hoping your new doctor works out.
Me too! I'll definitely be updating as I go.

@@MeatingWellness hopefully you can dial in more on thyroid to help with the fatigue.
🤩

Wow! That’s wonderful that you found a LowCarb doc. Wish Kaiser had one.
I wish Kaiser had one for you!
Btw… Love how you relayed your story! I was glued to the screen the whole time 😊

Congrats 🎉
Thanks!
Hi you. 😊 I hope you are well. Have a lovely day. 💗
This is great!
Thanks! It has been a process. I never would've thought to fire a doctor before this way of eating.
