Spackle can be sanded with a fine sand paper after dried; so can styrofoam. Sanding will smooth out anything for you. Do it outside because it is not healthy to inhale drywall spackle. I am going to make my daughter's cake too. Finger's crossed!! Nice job on your cake.

Then I glued on silver beads all around the cake then I bought fake flowers to to match the wedding cake. after that I found a cake topper for the top. On second row I found a beautiful arch for the middle of the cake. Then I went to the party store and bought some bridesmaid dolls. and found some ushers dolls to put them aside of each other. and the best man and the maytrin of honor on the second layer of the cake. and his ushers next to the he my
Nope! The cost of cakes is astronomical lol and every wedding I’ve been to they’ve almost forgotten to cut the cake/no one was interested. I saved my wedding bouquet instead

But with a fully fake cake, there's no bride and groom cut and no top layer to save.....Did you just not do either of those?

I used spackle from the hardware store lol like for walls . Looks like icing !
What are the sizes of the dummy cakes you used?
I think the largest one was 12” , I went in store and placed them in person to be sure, I ended up needing larger sizes than I had thought!
