Thank you producers for creating this soundtrack. I started playing destiny when I was only seven and I’m almost sixteen now. It doesn’t matter how long I live, whether it be 60 or 120, I will never forget Destiny and the memories it and it’s music generated for me. I love you guys very much and I appreciate the childhood you gave me
i will never forget the excitement i felt when the music picks up at 4:11 for the dps phase, the intensity of this entire encounter paired with the crazy ass orchestra never fails to get me hyped as fuck
It’s funny how the fallen are able to become so strong due to their own intelligence in technology alone. They don’t need forces like the light or darkness or worms to be a threat to us. Aksis was seen as a god to them but in reality he was just another leader that infused himself with some much machine he became more machine than eliksni. The fact this arena is small as well is perfect where as bigger ones for more lore wise stronger bosses fits well for them aksis having a small one fits his character perfectly
That moment at 2:30 when the woodwinds come in, only to be immediately be accompanied by strings later on carrying the same melody… it makes me think of a hectic scene where you’re one of the last ones alive and it’s all that you can do to simply stay alive **just** long enough to be able to revive your buddy so you can get a chain revive going… just unsurpassed in raw heroic emotion.
everything about this track is perfect. It personifies the feeling of being a hero so well. It starts quiet, begins to build, then it becomes foreboding as the SIVA Density Critical theme comes on. It's back to heroic for a bit for the quick strings make it seem like a monster has just appeared. It quickly fades to a heroic tone after that, and it remains loud, bombastic, and triumphant until the end. 5:42 is such a good crescendo of the track and gives me chills whenever I hear it during the Aksis fight
4:35 is THE Best section of this ost. Is so triumphant, the strings, percussion, choir all mks perfectly for absolutely throwing everything you have at this abomination. You will win no matter what
Trust me you should try them although my teams only beaten root of nightmares there fun we got to taniks day one the sanctified mind then we got to Atheon on challenge mode of vog vow Rhulk kf warpriest was just so tanky and we all didn’t have time to properly run it so we left on him. It teaches you how to do the raid and you might even meet a new member for your daily fireteam. Our root teams going into this day 1 with high hopes of geting our second day 1 completion
This is the last raid I can ever use my brain with. I remembered how to do every single encounter, with people and solo. Yeah, it's hard, but all mechanics aren't in your face and overwhelming. Destiny 2's raids, that's like getting a college degree for physics. Literally. My brain just can't keep with Destiny 2 raids even if I understood it all.
@@WickedBrilliance_01 Bungie stated that this summer we are getting another reprised raid. I just beat this raid today
This was the most fun raid i ever had in my life
So happy so see people are still running this raid, it was my childhood
Forever grateful that bungo chose this theme for Iron Banner end of round.
Same, makes the round even more epic 😂

It makes me lock in when we are like, 30 points behind the enemy team
Arc left. Void right. Solar mid. Slam left. Slam right. Axis behind. Axis mid. Ah the chaos and fun of this raid.
My very first raid I actually completed, it was definitely a blast.
Or During Challenge The Buff is Mid And axis Is Left slam
I seriously was hoping Bungie would bring this Raid back.. but they said no only the more cooler kids get what they want 😭😭😭
It hits different knowing that the wipe mechanic has its own theme the first time around

“GUARDIAN, CRUSH THEM!”
I am proud to be Veteran of the SiVA Crisis when my team blasted Aksis back to the scrapyard.

The smaller size of arena compared to king’s fall made this encounter feel especially energetic and chaotic. It was amazing.

They really fired the guy who made this huh
Skye Lewin (lead composer of Eyes Up) is still music director at Bungie.
It was Michael Salvatori and Michael Sechrist that were laid off.

Does bungie even sell this version? All I can find is the 4 minute one. 😢
They do not. The 4 minute one is the only officially released version.
