Great WHY explanations, vitally missing from the vast majority of these videos. In my opinion, there seems to be a general assumption that test candidates have a higher level of vocabulary and understanding than is the reality.
A cscs card ,is a Labour card ,why would a labourer be asked to move a crane ,, another question I saw in a cscs test was asking about welding, welding is a skill ,why would a Labourer be welding ,
I dont set the questions it's CITB however, a CSCS card is NOT just a labours card. Its also for operatives (SKILLED WORKERS) that includes welders, brickies, crane drivers etc..... its all the same test, it just depends on what qualification you hold, will depend on the type of card you get. So for example, if a trades man holding an NVQ 3 in what ever it is, he or she will do the same test as a labour but get a gold card
@@BarryJoyce1590 yet,but a Labourer, who's never going to be a bricklayer, plaster, electric, could fail the test cos he know sod all about welding, I mean do you want a Labourer welding up a balcony, I saw another question in the cscs test, asking what are the Samaritans, !!!!! No wonder this country in the shit it's in
@@peterteagleteagle9958 Well, the state of the country has nothing at all to do with me. As I said, I dont make and write the CSCS test is health and safety. You're right, we don't want a labourer welding up a balcony, but the questions is about hot works permits where labours can/could be working with a welders etc and need to know the risks of hot works permits. Mental health is a massive issue in ALL workplaces, and people who struggle with mental health need to know what support is there if they don't want to disclose this to the employer. You will be very surprised the number of younger worker have never even hear of the Samaritans

Good day i am from jamaica in the uk looking work i did the test but get 38/50.
Hi, keep practising as 38 is still good. You just need a little more practice
@BarryJoyce1590 do i have to get it before i can work in construction in the uk
@@lorenzochambers4134 if your going to work on major construction sites then yes, some private sites you dont need it
Barry, you know, everybody know, 34th really is to keep laborer busy, too often on phone and sitting around 🤣
that 47 got you. machinery should not be reversing without marshal
@@0xk404 Not sure it did get me, as I got that right :) you're right, a vehicle marshal/signaller is used when moving plant is reversing
