@@iykyk-s8z Looked up Fox River, and it's in Illinois. Bamboo and corn still wouldn't be growing wild there. I get into such arguments, Fran, with people on other sites when I say sometimes beaver dams must be taken down. It's "interfering with nature" and "killing beavers" and "beavers are more important than farms" "too bad if it's flooding the roads." I'm not going to mention it elsewhere online anymore.
Eventually that dam is going to have to be ripped out both sides because its just making it more easy for the angry beavers to build back quicker and flood the tree more even if u left debris closest to the dead tree its better than a half open dam
I’ll completely remove it for you next time I head out to this location - I was actually thinking the same thing 😉 remove all the wood in front and the get the water flowing across the whole dam to rip it’s self apart the bottom layers at mostly mud and corn stock 👍❤️
Because it's flooding neighbors and their yards because of the winter season beavers can't be relocated now til spring so this is preventable maintenance as it's called before the winter ice

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you 🎄🎁😊
Are those beavers using corn stalks or bamboo stalks? Very creative critters!
A lot or corn stocks yes 👍 Merry Christmas 🎄 And Happy Holidays Lynn
I think they're reeds. Corn stalks have leaves attached and wouldn't be growing on a river shore. Bamboo doesn't grow in the wild in New England.
@@GertyutzI don't think he's in New England.

Should've opened a wider gap. Or you'll be back in a couple weeks.
why?
Because it's flooding neighbors and their yards because of the winter season beavers can't be relocated now til spring so this is preventable maintenance as it's called before the winter ice
