I’m seriously curious about the psychology behind Haeun crying around boys the same age as her😭 this is not the first time
As a Psychology student I am curious myself too, I wish she could make friends also with girls and boys her age too
I remember someone commented that since the people around her usually are more verbal when communicating it's possible Hauen gets uncomfortable with people around her age since they don't have enough verbal skills to communicate with her. For example, Hauen felt less anxious without her father present when Jooho explained that he had just gone to wash his hands. Overall I do think it's possible Haeun gets anxious when she's not around people that can verbally communicate or explain things to her.

I'm surprised by the amount of commenters who think Hayeon had an aversion to Jinwoo due to his hair or because she isn't used to non-familiy members. Regular viewers of the family will tell you she's had lots of interaction to people of all ages and different hairstyles and is usually perfectly fine. The only expectation has been other babies or toddlers close in age to her. She usually gets shy then, but otherwise she's friendly to others.

Both hayeon and jinwoo are pandemic babies, so it's kind of hard for them to socialize to other kids that isn't their family member
But she’s fine around literally everyone except Jinwoo. Also, Jinwoo is quite socially interactive for his age.
@@sudeshna2983 I forgot that Hayeon has an older brother, so socializing with kids older than her isn't her problem, while with jinwoo, during their first interaction and even now, his noona and appa introduce the new kids as 'chingu' so he was quite expecting them to interact as friends
Actually Hayeon isn't used to boys her age. The other time when Lee Yoonji visited the Park Ha siblings, Hyunbin told her that Hayeon had, up till that point of time, never met boys her age. That was why we got to see Dogun. And Hayeon was uncomfortable around Dogun (she cried as well). But we didn't see that much interaction between them because Dogun was smitten by Hajun and kept following him.
So if Hayeon didn't meet any other baby boys after that encounter, that would make Jinwoo the *2nd boy her age* that she has met. Hence that discomfort is not surprising for me
@@jmljns5773 yeah that is there but apart from their different personalities or how they’re being raised, the fact that Hayeon may have some behavioural issues ( anxiety ) can also be considered. Usually kids that age are pretty energetic and talkative whereas she’s always alert and wary of her surroundings. They say, “a calm/good kid is usually the anxious one” and I am only saying this because I was exactly like Hayeon as a kid and I grew up with severe social anxiety because everyone brushed it off with “oh she’s just shy”.
Hayeon has no issues with other children outside of the family so long as they're older. She was all smiles when 10 yr old Jameon visited them a few months ago.

My younger sister was similar to Hayeon. She didn't cry towards other kids like Hayeon does to Jinwoo but just as shy. Ever since she were born she never liked strangers, wouldn't even let aunts and uncles pick her up or look at her.
It would take an hour for her to get used to a new environment for them to open up. She'll run around but won't interact with strangers. We tried to encourage my sibling to play with toddlers their age but she always hid from other kids and refused. So she didn't have any toddler friends as a toddler. She's gotten older and goes to school now, still shy, but she have many friends now.
Hayeon might be the same. She's not used to being around with her age group quite yet. As long as her parents encourage her to try to play with her peers and go to school I'm sure she'll grow out of it someday.
