  • This old-school Italian American dish is super easy to make, extremely delicious and very much low carb and healthy! Here’s what you need to make it.
One jar of hot vinegar peppers
    Chicken stock
    A shallot
2 thick cut pork chops(I prefer bone in)
    Directions
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil on medium heat.
Season your Pork chops with salt and pepper, then add to the pan
While the pork chops are browning,
Chop up your cherry peppers, remove the seeds if you don’t want it too hot, and slice up your Shallot.
After about five minutes your pork chop should be nice and browned on one side, flip it over and let it cook for another three or four minutes. Add your sliced peppers and shallot to the pan, Making sure to stir around and loosen up the fond, or tasty browned bits on the pan. Add 1 cup of your vinegar pepper Brine, and one cup of chicken stock, Bring it up to a simmer, Then cover and lower the heat. Let it cook for about a half an hour until the pork is nice and tender and temps out at 165°
If you’re not doing low-carb you could serve this with a nice side of pasta or crusty bread to soak up those delicious juices, otherwise a nice green salad goes well with it. Don’t forget to add a nice glass of white wine! Enjoy my friends

I love the seeds in the vinegar peppers. I like to put them in my steak sandwich. I've never seen this recipe and my mom is Italian. I can't wait to try it.

Vito made Johnny cakes a proper meal...Pasta Bedan, Pasta and potatoes, Real peasant food and pork chops and vinegar pepper’s.
Too bad the shah of Iran and that face of his had Vit killed. He could’ve earned some decent scratch running number’s and broad’s down in AC.

Any good side dishes to have with this?

Great question! If you’re going keto it’s great with just broccoli or mashed cauliflower is awesome. That sauce is so good. but if not, mashed potatoes or just a side of pasta.✌️♥️

My Mom made this often and always DELICIOUS. I make it for my wife and she loves it. I never use HOT only sweet, but if like hot go for it. I always clean out the seeds.

I use the sweet when I make it for my Dad. vinegar is the key to the dish. Thanks for leaving a comment, if you get a chance I’d love if you hit that subscribe button. Happy new year.
