How far in advance do you suggest to make the cake pops & apples

Hi, I'm attempting the apples and cookies next week. But I would like to know is almond extract a must or could a different extract be used? Also what are the ratios? How much lustre dust to extract? Is anything added to the pink dust?

Please wash your apples 🍏 first in baking soda it will remove the wax covering. Be sure to remove the dirt from the center!

Missy Schwabe where did you get the color writers? I bought some at Joanna but they don’t write on chocolate :( I’m having trouble finding some that wrote on candy melts and chocolate
After the apples and Oreo's are done, do you have to refrigerate them?

How did you get your apples to harden I tried strawberries with candy melts but they did not harden as well and I had a really hard time decorating them need help!

How do you dip your apples in chocolate without the chocolate looking lumpy. I melt my chocolate in bowl over hot water and when I dip my apples, the chocolate is a bit lumpy. Help me.
Ahh... I see you add Crisco. I didn't add anything to my chocolate. To me when I add vegetable oil when I dip, the chocolate is transparent. But the fact that I add transparent oil may be the reason why. I didn't think it would matter. Thanks Miss Trendy Treats!!
