I absolutely cried the first time I listened to Deep End. Admittedly, I was pretty depressed at the time and that song did not help, especially thinking about Felix the sunshine possibly experiencing whatever caused him to write that song.
When Changbin first played Streetlight to the JYPE staff, the staff cried. It really hits you. Overall, SKZ are really good storytellers and can make emotional songs about many themes. However, with Hate to Admit, there is a very personal feeling. Chan said he had hard times when writing it.
I cried listening to both these songs for the first time. Felix plus piano and Chan plus piano equals perfection. Fans usually get shocked by Deep end cuz there aren’t many SKZ songs where Felix sings in his natural voice or they just don’t recognize his singing voice if it’s not from the depths of hell. And his voice is otherwordly in every octave. For more solo songs I recommend Han’s Volcano and Miserable. They are not released on any album yet but they are on their youtube channel, with subtitles. Also Lee Know’s Limbo and Hyunjin’s Contradicting

there is so many comfort songs in skz, wait; - voices (overcoming fear) - hero's soup (your dad having drinking problems) - my side (relying on someone + feeling comfy around them) - grow up (taking your time + doing things wrong is okay cause everyone does it) - M.I.A (a person who have changed and miss their old version) - Chronosaurus (breaking free from, and pushing on even if it's hard) - insomnia (literally about insomnia) - hellevator (escaping from depression) - 19 (fear of growing up) - eunseoki (a boy who was the bullied but later on became the bully) - 42, not deleted from 3racha but it's still up online (contemplating life and being su!cidal) - maniac (being the odd one out, and own it) - venom (stuck in a toxic realtionship, parents, gf/bf, friend, addiction and so on) - little star (losing someone and missing them, hyunjin wrote this to his dead puppy) - alien (feeling like a outcast) - mirror (losing yourself) - any (not knowing what you want in life) - silent cry (pretending to be okay, depressed stayville's anthem) - another day (being tired of the reapting cycle of the day) - ex (feeling guilty over a old realtionship) - sorry, I love you (scared to wreck a friendship bcz your love for them) - glow (when thinking abt giving up on your dreams) - district 9 (not letting other change who you are) yeah most of the skz songs are about this stuff, so I will never be able to write down everything + can you react to Felicheee's tiktok complations, they're the best ones out there
"Are you okay, Felix? Like, are you fine" NOT THE "NAUR" BLENDED IN AHAHAHAA but yes, these boys have some Deep Emotions, and I really love them for it. It's relatable and emotional and dramatic, and it's so comforting sometimes. Channie is my 2nd bias (bc I really can't decide), and I Hate To Admit is one of my favourite songs in general, like, ever. I don't know, his voice is just perfect, and it's equally saddening as comforting in this song

I'm happy you watched those two together. I listened to Deep End on loop for weeks when I discovered it, and cried myself to sleep with it many times because I was going through rough stuff. And for Chan's song, I love it so much I made a bass & voice cover of it. The piano is so simple, it's the same haunting single note on right hand the way through, and only 3 single notes on the left... (Then there's a bit of strings and vocal harmonies in the middle of the track). The piano variations in Deep End are gorgeous, I'm not a pianist, but it almost makes me want to practise again...
If you like sad and slow songs, then i would really recommend 'cover me'. It's a song from their newest album and written by Hyunjin and Chan✨ I also recommend 'Limbo' from Lee know. It's also sad and slow but a bit more passionate🐱 Both songs are still one of my all times favourite❤️
@@Willow_Reactsi really recommend Cover Me. I ended up in tears at first listen, just like Deep End. Also another beautiful slow song to pair with Cover Me is #loveSTAY. It's more positive, but so poetic. Both songs are written by Hyunjin, I love his writing imagery. (Cover Me is also a Hyunjin/Chan composition, so it has some elements reminding Red Lights that they also made together)

I still cry while listening to that song even if i already heard it that often. It's sad but somehow also really hopeful, i love that song soo much (it even has a live version of Han and seungmin singing it together). That's why i really need to recommend 'Hold On' from Seungmin too✨
When I first listen to Deep End I thought there are 3 4 people singing and get shocked when I see it"s all Felix. The song and vocals is amazing and even I love "deep end" so much I can't listen bc it breaks my heart for real... And I also recommend Streetlight of Changbin and Volcano of Han.( and ofc there is more , yesss their discography is insane) From the albums songs know how talented they are but I feel like they have so much more than we see and these unit or individual works are the proof. I've never heard any Stray Kids slow songs before. Their voices were beautiful and Felix's range is incredible. I think I like the 2nd song slightly more than the first song, though. Except for when Felix is in his lowest register. My favorite singing to listen to is in a low register and always has been. A bit ironic with me being ARMY, since most of their songs are higher pitched.

I was preparing for the Uni when I listened to Deep End for the first time. I cried all the way there. Felix's voice is so heartwarming and expressive. It's one of those voices that can make you feel things❤
My first reaction to Deep End literally had tears outta meh. Felix has a huge range of voices and all of them are beautiful just like I mentioned when u were reacting to s-class.
So aside from their official albums and releases, the members occasionally work on other side projects (as a big time kpop stan, I'd say they're one of the most music passionate groups in the industry). These are SKZ-RECORD and SKZ-PLAYER. SKZ-RECORD is songs (so, audio only). So song covers as well. SKZ-PLAYER can be a member covering a choreo of another artist's song (I guess Hyunjin's dance videos count as SKZ-PLAYER, not sure). Or SKZ-PLAYER can be a song with an M/V (which they might occasionally perform live at concerts). These are generally side-projects so the members themselves write/produce these (Chan is credited on almost all of them) Both of these 2 are combined in an album "SKZ-REPLAY".

I had started crying without understanding what the words were saying, I obsessed over the singer's (Chan) clear and pure tonal voice & piano single note struck a chord inside my core. I didn't know that THIS was the way that STAY are made... involuntarily... no Choice in the matter... then when Felix dropped his song, I was so blow away even though I knew he was a Singer and not Just a deep killer voice. His falsetto & lower ranges are amazing and impressive. Can't wait to watch you hear the rest of the solos.. its a constant state of amazement and wanting to cry.. my popcorn is at the ready
