    • @lecorsaire2283
      @lecorsaire2283 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Entry-level is relative. Entry-level could be a Toyota Corolla, a Mercedes C-Class (not so much anymore due to the CLA and the other FWD crap) or a Bentley Continental GT.
      Only the wealthiest of car collectors would ever call a Bentley entry-level but technically the GT is just that! So entry-level is really relative.
      A basic 1br condo in any metropolitan area can be called entry-level but for many people (perhaps more than ever before) owning a condo at all is a pipe dream.

    I hate those words "entry level" especially when we're talking thousands of dollars. It's a marketing term to make you feel you have a lesser model of something and to make you feel inferior if all you can afford is that product. It's also possible that the cheaper model is all you needed or wanted.

      Lawrence Rogers hi Lawrence, is your blue dial with the green pips? If so do you wish it was without the green accents or does it add a bit of flair? ’m torn between the blue with the green pips or grey dial with light blue pips. Awesome choice btw

    • @eljayr4669
      @eljayr4669 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Johannes Finn . I was lucky as the AD had the blue dial on display as it was a cancelled order. I agree withTVMister Tero’s comments. I find the watch quite understated, which I like, and you don’t really notice the green dots but they do add to the flair of the watch. Designs are subjective so if you like the grey dial you will not be disappointed. There are videos on TH-cam to compare the two. As an owner I really like the finish and accuracy. My one gains about 6 seconds a week. It doesn’t bother me but the lume isn’t very bright which to me is the only downside of the watch.

      Maybe the target market for the Aqua Terra is of people who would spend more money. It is a more balanced watch that serves more the same purpose as the Yacht Master. A casual watch for people who own boats that do not actually dive or those who want to appear that way which translates to wanting to appear you have money.

    Just wondering why you have never reviewed Revue Thommen, will you be doing that soon? Your thoughts on the brand? Seems high quality. Thanks.

      Cant decide which one I like more. Guess I'll keep both?

    Great video! Thanks for sharing your experience and insight. It's nice to see someone with confidence in their opinions, rather than parroting the worship of two or three specific models (let alone brands).

    We always tend to forget that to 99,99% of the population around 300$ for "Just" a watch is already an over the top luxury price.

    I dislike Rolex but respect the 39mm Oyster Perpetual. It has an unpretentious design that will always look handsome, and the price isn't overly inflated by Rolex standard. And the blue dial looks awesome.

    Speaking of my seamaster, like l said, I've had it since 2005 and I've never had it serviced, because it's never not worked properly. My question is, if it runs good and never been opened, should l go ahead and get it serviced?

      I know that they're high end but I wasn't sure how the quality of their under $5K watches compares to their more expensive watches.

    Hi Federico, nice show I really enjoy it. I have a question for you. What do you think of these brands and watches: Maurice lacroix model (Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Cinq Aiguilles 40mm 18k Rose Gold), Arnold & Son (Arnold & Son HMS1 40MM Rose Gold Royal) and Vacheron Constantine (patrimony) and finally, Parnigiani (Fleurier Tonda). Do you think hey worth their value?

    The Rolex OP 36mm white dial is the perfect watch in my opinion.
