@ashstgreen - you guys hit this one out of the stratosphere ❤️🤘🔥 - beautifully composed and so well done. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album. So far the 3 singles that have been released are incredible 🫶
This is only the 2nd song I have heard from Holding Absence. The first one was Coffin and so far, I am in love with this sound. What a talented band. I look forward to discovering the rest of your music.
Lucas Woodland's voice is so beautiful. I love his style of singing so much. That ethereal voice mixed with vocals like that bring me so much peace. I don't think I can find another artist like him
Yooo I was thinking the exact same! Both their voices are so powerful and their range is insane. What a coincidence they released a song on the same day
I hadn't heard of Nick Thurl before and then I realised I saw him performing with his band at Download lol! Indeed great they both released a song on the same day hahah
Saw them both live this year. Lucas and Nick are some of the best singers I've seen live. What a pleasant coincidence they released both the same day ❤️
My favorite part about Holding Absence is that they know how to hit home with the melodic stuff like this, but they know how to bring it in their other records. Sharptones is my favorite lable too, now
Do you ever just turn up the volume to the point where your ears are like “enough, child” and even then, you’re like “I need to absorb this masterpiece into my SOUL”?? Just me?
2:14 is one of the most beautiful sections of music i've ever heard. can't expect anything less from HA. but another reason why it's so beautiful, is because the transition into it with the inhale seems like a direct reference to the transition into the ending of mourning song, which also has an inhale into a wall of post-hardcoresy goodness. the only difference is it uses the minor key in mourning song, because well... it's a song for mourning. absolutely top class.
another beautiful outstanding track lads i really enjoyed it the lyric video was awesome lucas woodland's vocals were beautiful & the instrumentation was outstanding keep the tunes coming guys well done i loved the addition of the acoustic guitar at the beginning & end of the song.😀💚🤟🔥
Now this one vibes in a bitterswet melancholic way (or not necessarily sad, but emotional for sure and a little sad too). Def one to play live too. Those vocals too though and that acoustic \m/ Looking forward to this album more with each single for sure. Theyre really going to be bringing the heart grabbing melody on this one I think, the kind that gets stuck in your head or you hear in a dream or over a hill. Maybe thays just me though haha
Just like those young Emos from 2000s have witnessed a legendary album Discovering the Waterfront, I have witnessed a legendary album The Noble Art of Self Destruction during 2020s!
One of my favourite songs we’ve written. Hope everyone loves this even a little bit as much as we do 🙏
One of my favourites too! It's so so serene and it makes me feel alive. thank you for writing it

I fell in love the moment the music kicked in from the acoustic to heavy, and than I heard the lyrics, this song is beyond beautiful

Instant wedding song
These guys just can’t make a bad song. Wish them the best of luck this year they deserve all the success incoming!

He and Matt Flood from Caskets are my favorites 💞
Since you like Holding Absence you're probably familiar with Dayseeker, but just in case you're not you should definitely check them out.
@@NathanHale1755 huge dayseeker fan as well! I love sleep talk and dark sun 😁
His vocal technique is clearly really well worked, so it's so enjoyable
Nobody could ever match Lucas’s voice and ash’s drumming is also phenomenal ❤
A track fitting for stadium-level venues
New Holding Absence and Nick Thurl Mavromatis on the same day and both are 🔥🔥 We're blessed!
Yooo I was thinking the exact same! Both their voices are so powerful and their range is insane. What a coincidence they released a song on the same day
I hadn't heard of Nick Thurl before and then I realised I saw him performing with his band at Download lol! Indeed great they both released a song on the same day hahah
I know right feels like I'm in heaven 😍
What's more amazing is that both of these songs are on repeat now and I hadn't had a song on repeat like that for months now. Crazy

This band man this band
This will be my wedding song..
This needs to be played twice live. First time to marvel at Lucas’ singing, second time for massive singalong it deserves

So beautiful. I’m so incredibly proud of you guys. This record is amazing so far and I can’t wait to hear the rest.
I love this song so much.
You boys have knocked it out of the park. Absolutely beautiful song. I'll have a good sob to this live, I can't wait.
I wish movements keep producing bangers like this one
Imagine loving someone so much to write such a beautiful song for or about them....
Just came across this band and this song is awesome! Looking forward to the full album.

Perfection!

Absolutely gorgeous ethereal song!
My fav out of the three singles
This upcoming album along with the new album by Caskets are gonna be amazing 😍
This is so beautiful 💙
This is what I've known Holdbing Absence for, melodic post-hardcore/rock sound and they've been missing it for awile now glad they bring it back!
This new album is going to slapppp
I just know that this is gonna be beautiful live
Finally found some new music for my player. Thanks for this awesome song!

I love you Holding Absence - Honey Moon
I love them so much, and this song
Awesome track ❤
Just like those young Emos from 2000s have witnessed a legendary album Discovering the Waterfront, I have witnessed a legendary album The Noble Art of Self Destruction during 2020s!
Accidentally started listening to this on 1.5x speed. Sounded like nothing but thieves 😂
Saw you guys live on Madrid some moths ago, fell in love directly!!! ❤

W song

2:11 - 2:45 I just felt my soul leave my body
🔥⭐🌛
Acoustic intro is sort of a more upbeat faster Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead
They r like the 2005s of 2020s
Can Anyone Please Tell Me That This Upcoming Album By Holding Absence Will Have Screaming
Nobody knows. Gonna find out when they drop the whole record in August!
scissors has some bone chilling screams :)))
@@sirbonple and the rest of the album is almost here 😁
Just realised the guitar in the beginning sounds like stage 4 fear of trying by frank iero
These guys are fucking amazing! 🔥🔥🔥
Reminds me of something corporate cool song
I was thinkin' it was Emil of Nier Automata lol
🤎🤍💙 🌘
All the singles so far have been good but this one sounds too mainstream to me.
Perhaps the increased popularity is getting to them.
Not metal...
You’re right, it is so much better and more amazing than metal
Congratulations, music genre ChatGPT
True
holding absence aren't even a metal band so of course they won't be playing metal
always had to be one...
❤
