On the truck, are you going to remove the mirror on the driver side? seems like more body work to fill those holes too. Looking forward to the tranny seal project.. On your sportster build, after stretching 2", are you going to lengthen the down tubes to limit the rake, yet still allow for the extended front-end? I assume you will have the bottom of the frame parallel to the ground. Seems like you got some cool stuff coming.
I will be removing the stainless mirrors. I like them, but they make me nervous as they stick out quite a bit and if anyone walks in, or hits them in a parking lot they tend to jack up the door panels quite a bit, hence the repair on the passenger side. After doing the passenger side, I think I know what to be more cautious of and should have an easier time when I get over to the driver. Not quite sure exactly what I'm doing on the sporty frame until I get to cutting it all apart. The end goal will be, like you said, level frame rail to the ground and accommodate the girder I have for it. Thanks for the support!
