@@drewt1717 No, the second side was immediately and completely compromised, because the other side of the structure is destroyed. Cinder blocks aren't designed to be as sturdy when they're half as big.
I wouldn't recommend wearing them all the time because it just isn't necessary to. Wearing them all the time just increases the general wear and tear on the insole. Personally I have several pairs of shoes and a couple of them are dedicated to skating, so I only wear the insoles in those particular shoes to keep down the wear of the insoles. Why? Because the newer the insoles are, the more shock absorbent they will be and shock absorption is the whole reason I bought the things in the first place. The footprint insoles are great shock absorbers for when you're skateboarding, but they aren't the best insoles for general walking and running. If you have normal feet, the best insoles are honestly probably made out of leather, they shape to your foot, but they don't alter or constrain the way you walk. They're also easier to grip with your toes and they provide the perfect balance between cushion and natural foot motion. Not to mention, they last forever. On the other hand, if you have flat feet, I recommend getting copper insoles. They have great self adjusting arch support, the perfect amount of cushion, and they don't really stop your foot from moving naturally either. They will help your tendons support your weight as you move and they also last a very long time.
First off great video, now I have a great question. How many times could you drop the bowling ball on fp insoles repeatedly before the cinder block broke?
Well, since the cinder block got weak and cracked during the first 2 drops, id say 3, just like in the video. The more you hit the block, the weaker it gets. Each block and cell is different as far as strength, due to the manufacturing process, and them being shipped around on pallets. Being a mason, Ive had CMUs shatter just by picking them up at the center web. A better test would be to take a 1/4" thick piece of plate aluminum and suspend it on each end, and see how much it flexes when something is dropped on it, because that would get accurate, repeatable, results each time, and each sheet would have the same K-Factor.

The bowling ball test is a gimmick and doesn't mean shit. Sti insoles you find in maranas and new accel slims are way better last more and cost a lot less. Fun fact, after 10 minutes of skating FPs heat up and get extremely soft and squishy, nothing to to with how they compress when cold. Crep is laughably overpriced, except the laces, they're probably the same ones Flores sells at twice the price :D
No test needed, it’s basic physics. Your pop timing/height/amount of “snappiness”, has mostly to do with what I call your “pop-angle”. Or, the angle/amount of degrees the center/majority of your deck is at at the point your tail makes contact with the ground. A setup that’s at 45 degrees when the tail hits the ground, it’s nose is going to be higher in the air when you pop than a setup that has a pop-angle of 40/35/30 degrees. A higher nose means an over-all higher level for which to level the board out to, aka, bring the tail up after the pop. That, plus, the line of trajectory would be steeper and therefore likely be higher at its highest point. I say likely because although a steeper trajectory=higher “level-out” height, a shallower angle would equal more distance. And if you’re going down hill at all, especially with greater speed, and the further one goes laterally, technically the lower the ground gets… may end up being “higher” than a not as far but initially steeper trajectory. Many things effects your pop angle though. How tall your wheels are. Your trucks. The pitch of your tail. The length of your tail. Where/when it begins it’s curve/pitch. Your wheel base. Whether or not you have risers. I think that’s it… personally I find a not so steep pop-angle to be “snappier” as to me, to be “snappier” seems to be synonymous with a shorter pop-timing
If you wanna try a steeper pop angle, simply Ollie with your board turned around. Your nose will always be both longer and also have a steeper pitch. Unless it’s a twin tail. Or some other kind of… abomination.

I bought Z liners 2 months ago. They seemed to be good but now I found the FP’s and don’t kno if I made a bad choice
How the zliners doing i just bought some but then these popped up. Havent even received the zliners. But i went on this website looks confusing on which to buy cuz they got options
Demonstration starts @2:00
How heavy is the bowling ball?
but you didn't regard the braille video?
FP insoles caused me injuries and they are too heavy.
Just got mine yesterday. They are perfect, i can already see compared to my vans ultra cush HD, much better!
What Fp insoles series in this test?
u are my idol. is there anything wrong with low trucks? please tell me.
Thank you, and no not really it’s all personal preference!
@@JasonParkSucks I've always thought that higher trucks could create a snappier pop. Maybe another test idea..?
The "alternative" is a Remind Destin Impact.
These insoles are a lifesaver. I love them.

THE TRUTH HAS BEEN REVEALED
I've tested Remind Insoles on my own feets for the last three years or so, and they definitely work wonders. I'm no bowling ball though 😕
Try some FP Insoles, you'll feel a huge difference
@@FootprintInsoleTechnology no thank you, I've already got enough Remind Insoles to last me probably a decade, I can't see spending money on yours just to experiment.
I've tried both, FP is better, worth trying trust me
Sunk Cost Fallacy describes our tendency to follow through on an endeavor if we have already invested time, effort, or money into it, whether or not the current costs outweigh the benefits
@@johnnyresin Tried both, FP are at different league. Worth it, just try it you got nothing to loose.
Except.. you know.. forty$…
thanks for this
Next time i plan on dropping bowling balls on my feet, im going to get FP Insoles.
Is there a difference fp makes jumping down stuff?
In my experience I feel a definite difference!
I used to get gnarly heel bruised running out from transitions.
When I had my first pair, I honestly NEVER got bruises ever again. Could legit run out with no repercussions. Great choice of insole
Same here, I used to fear messing up in transition bc of the run down and how hard my feet would slam while trying to decrease my momentum but with FP footwear (I’m rocking the velocity’s rn) I’m able to just jump down and don’t feel any different from a 7 foot drop and jumping down a step in terms of how the impact hurts my feet. Obvs there’s more pressure but the actual force/pain from the drop is literally 1/10th
im sold...well done...i hope they hook u up for this video
Need a promo code tho 😐👍🏼
i had to get baked for this one
i am NOT disappointed
the potato king playing with his balls is pretty much as good as content can get.
These insoles like fixifoot or stabilty shoes?? Anyone?
This test is weird. FP bounced least - others bounced higher. Is higher bouncing bad or good? Can you talk normal language?
His name jason
What shoes do you skate
Always Es shoes!!
That is a super pristine shiny bowling ball
Wow... impresive results👍🏼
How long should the insoles be worn before changing them out?
Most say about a year.
But I just got a pair of game changers today and I'm excited to mold and try them out.
FYI I work at Amazon and walk an avg of 8-12 miles a DAY in around 3-5 hours.
@@gavinsdadphil 2 months later, how are they working for you? I just got my pair today and just finished molding them. I'm really hoping they help, because I have tried every other "professional" orthotics and nothing ever works.
@@spaceman3150 I sent mine back after 2 weeks of use.
They felt similar to memory foam that wouldn't bounce back...
I honestly had high hopes for these but I guess it was mostly hype
@gavinsdadphil same here. Those moulding ones you put in the oven just seemed to lose their shape and felt useless after a few skates. Also the metal piece inside them started tearing thru the bottom in a few weeks too.
Which FP’s did you use?
anybody else see the concrete dust on his pants and the ground before he started from all the ones that broke off camera lol
That’s just from carrying them from the car to the ground haha
Could you do another review video where the insoles have been worn for a period of time, and then do the tests? I think that would be a more accurate test for any of these insoles.
dang, was hoping remind would be tested too but this was cool anyway
Remind was actually the alternative skate insole I tested! I just didn’t want to call them out directly by name because I felt bad but yeah those were Remind!
@@JasonParkSucks ahh gotcha thank you
You're baby man now? I thought you were a potato! 😁😁
The insoles debacle... Are there shoes that already have them? Maybe you said and I wasn't listening well enough.
FP does make their own shoes now, I’m rocking the velocity’s (aaron “jaws” homoki’s pro shoe) but my next pair is def gonna be the intercepts (Neen Williams pro shoe)
damn i have a baby man body too, how did you know
ordered the neen willams #fp skate shoes during covid but they were stolen off my porch so im just sadly never gonna get to try them cause i dont wanna pay for another pair again. i hope for neens sake they rule
te faltó las G6 de Emerica.
I Love gear tips from Pros.
I took the plunge after researching insoles and couldn’t be happier w my FP’s!
I was going to the gym and as soon as I’d stand on the work out mat my feet would literally ache!
After switching to the FP Insoles the ache nearly went away, I purchased a set for my oldest Son who works part time as a bartender and on his feet all day, he loves them!
But which ones??
@@GabeHelma I chose “FP Insoles GAMECHANGERS” but I see now they have the “GAMECHANGER PRO” which might be even better!
Much Love to you and Your Crew!
How does everyone own a bowlingball xD, thanks for the video btw!!
Well I've been looking for a video about the creep and he didn't do that one and creep mates a sport a comfort. It also has the one made from jail. It's got three different $15 ones and one $25 one. I have spent $75 on shoot pads because I stand on my feet for 10 hours at work. Dr. Shows are no good. The copper fit has been the best ones but I was going to try the creep and there's no videos. Nobody has tested them. The only videos are the videos from the company dropping watermelons or bowling balls they like to make these shoe pads with these high arches and they're uncomfortable. A shoe pad should be one link and the zoom pad. I have the Jordan one zooms. Very comfortable but the insole does not have air. It is a very thick insole even out. Best insoles ever
So he isn’t even using the hood insole, he is using the flats which are normal insoles. The king elites and game changers are the impact observer insoles
Dude. Amazing
i can personally attest to the quality of fp insoles, and their skate shoes! 10/10 products, insoles are game changing 😁
The “Remind” insoles are just as good as the FP and they ALSO make a heat moldable version as well
Joey Brezinski is rad too. It would be cool if you had a video of him and bevup skate🤙🏽with you
They're amazing
They are some of the best insoles ever!
baby man bodies unite!
Step on the sole for a minute and see the difference.
Nice 👍🏻
I'm sold. 😂
damn lol now I think I'm gonna buy one.
