That 17' beauty will be used A LOT this summer! We have 55 days of camping (incl. departure days) planned for this season! We have two daughters (13 and 11yo) and a dog. We also take a lot of gear when we go backcountry (we avoid portages for now). This canoe can easily take all this load and is perfect for our needs! Thank you, Bill and the Swift Team!
Wow, Bill, you guys really knocked it totally out of the park with these 2 boats--well, really, I say that after EVERY one of your videos, whether featuring a kayak or canoe. I hope to be a customer one of these days!
Wow! That setup and material package is awesome on that 16. I purchased my prospector 14 in March with the carbon package, mine has the solo kayak style seat. I absolutely love it but that prospector 16 is sweet!
I came to Swift due to TH-camrs who speak highly of their products, but I'm not too keen on these designs. The more movable parts, the more that can break. High-tech is not always best either. I think this just changed my mind about Swift. I feel like this is a "glampers" boat.
some people prefer it backwards because depending on the model it's a shorter distance to the rear thwart with your hands to balance the boat as you portage.
Just a crazy idea .... I remember seeing your canoes being offered with various wetlands / camo pattern exteriors several yrs ago .... have you ever tried / thought about "cedar strip" or "natural birch bark" exterior patterns. Oh ... and I love the "Raven" pattern and the previous "fades" in blue, orange, yellow, green, etc.
That 16’ is absolutely gorgeous ! It’s truly magic to the eyes

Сергей, хорошего кэмпинга! Можно с вами связаться ближе к осени, поспрашивать как каноэ в экплуатации?
That carbon innegra textream looks unbelievable, a true work of functional art.
What´s the weigth of the canoes?

What are the weights of these boats??

I agree! Once you own a Swift you want another one as well. I love that 16ft Prospector.
Beautiful so what do they weigh
Beautiful.
I remember your 111 pound 1998 fiberglass canoes
I can’t wait for you guys to get my new boat done too!
Ok, without going to your website, and now that I've put my coffee down.. I gotta ask..
how much..?
gorgeous!
I have seen one of these in SWFL where I live and It was absolutely amazing and very well made
Joe Robinet and Shawn James both need extra canoes! Lol ! In fact they both need a fleet of canoes
Stunning boats. I know you say they're built to take abuse but I'd hate to scuff up that beautiful exterior.
Dream boats!
I need to know where I can find the 16 foot carbin innegra for sale.
Adventures in the Heartland
How does this 'Carbon Innegra' compare in strength toABS for backcountry river tripping? What does it weigh?
How much does the aerospace composite canoe weigh?
Wow !😳
Very nice.
When the aliens finally come to earth we need to give them one of these as a gift 🙏🏼 absolutely beautiful
Works of art.
Great boats.
Love it
You redefine the term primitive canoe! Amazing!
Primitive?
How long ago the craft was first invented. , it's a ancient design.

What's the rough wait time for a Pack Boat.? 12.9 or 13.6
right now the lead time on all new builds is about 4 months unless you can find one in stock at one or our stores
Beautiful boats. With all the upgrades, they cost as much as a nice motorcycle. I guess I’m not rich enough to buy both, that’s my problem!
Is it my imagination or is the yoke in the Prospector 17 installed backwards?
Yep it's totally backwards and I was about to post that comment but you beat me to it now I'm just wondering why 🤔👏😂👍
some people prefer it backwards because depending on the model it's a shorter distance to the rear thwart with your hands to balance the boat as you portage.
@@SwiftCanoeKayak weight?
if we could get these here in Australia we won't be able to afford it as we just get ripped of

Love it but i would need a 20 year loan to pay for it, haha.
Big fancy words must mean I can't afford one.
So many beautiful options so many amazing boats I wish I could do like Bill says and get one of each 💙💦
It should be illegal to post this kind of videos :D :D :D
