I agree with you, there is no contradiction in being pro-life and pro-choice. The only way you are going to reduce abortions (nobody likes abortions even those that have them), is providing women with greater choices, and doing it in a completely compassionate way without judgement, and then respecting their choice. Many on the Pro-Life side just like to use the issue to hold people (usually low income and minority women and girls) in contempt. Making abortion illegal won't stop abortions, it will only drive young women back into the back alleys.

According to the US News and World poll Louisiana has an overall ranking of being #50 overall in education, economy, infrastructure, etc. My biggest concerns are economy 49 and education 40. I think he has enough to worry about in his own state. I am ashamed to be from Louisiana.
