I think every tag needs an ultra to help the team but there's clearly gonna be a unbalanced fusion warrior will always get more ultra than any other tag in the game (Saiyans excluded) and it will be unbalanced when the whole team is just ultra and every 2 celebrations is another Saiyan ultra
Just feels like they're making Sparkings into the new extremes and only Ultra's and LF's matter. I never liked the idea of new characters (Ultra or Sparking) being a part of the boost system since it was introduced. The unit is already going to perform well in most cases so having the boost feels to me a bit misleading. I wish it would have been used more for older units and maybe they could have expanded on the bonuses you get for having the same saga so you could get more out of some of the obscure teams like the U2 girls

That would still allow units like YEL Syn or UGB and others who have abilities activate on rush to still be usable in PVP but would eliminate many of the complaints I see from people. I hardly use my rush in most matches so it wouldn't affect me much but I do wonder if f2p players would complain more about not being able to take down a full 14* team full of new units if they did limit the number of times you could rush

Everyone feared this would happen. Then for a while we had lfs and ultras have an equal balance in terms of how influential there are and even some 1% units like pan and zamasu. After rose dropped tho he created a new level of power creep that only the ultras can compete with and kid buu is no different. Ppl may see his damage numbers are low but in a combo he’s getting no less than 60% to cut pen and that’s a bare minimum cos cds. And it’s not just featured boost, offensive units don’t just have good damage they have insane damage with a shit ton of utility around it which none of the lfs or 1% have. Even the z duo who introduced a new mechanic have next to no utility besides their big boom attack. Dk how they fix it tbh

This is why ultra z broly is the best ultra. Best for me = most balanced. Good defensive unit with really good control and can even do some output if given all offensive equips. Yet he was hated cause he didn’t have any of the brain dead mechanics ultras now have. Legends players complain about ultras but they are at fault because they just want broken units. The biggest problem with the game is 95% of the players.

The man makes sense. Everyone gets hyped with new units, they're also on boost, but in the end of the day players that run units like Gogeta,Hit,Rose etc don't care. They rule PvP
Been getting shafted since I pulled ultra kaioken, I literally play the game everyday and have not pulled a new ultra, shits is so tiring seen people not even deserve the unit.
I think I remember this conversation happening like 3 years ago with LFs and my response is the same as then. Once we get a ton more ultras, they will stop being the problem with the game. New tiers of units are always awful to play against at first.
The thing with Ultras is that they don't rerun with each other, that alone makes it a bigger problem compared to LFs as even when LFs were minimal they constantly rerun whenever a new one drops, on top of that leader slot has made Ultras a flexible choice on any teams, making them all the more horrendous to deal with. Unless they can patch up a way to make a banner consist of at the very least 2 Ultras, I don't think Ultras will stop being a problem for this game

@@dawsondemott1837 If you're saying 3 years ago, leader slot hasn't even existed yet, you're forced to build a team around the LF itself akin to how Ultras get their ultra ability maximized just by being in the leader slot, and yes I'd agree that we'll be seeing more Ultras as time goes on, but that itself is a problem if they do not try to rerun a few Ultras in one banner, what makes LF bearable is that you don't have to specifically wait for a banner to come again so that you can summon for them, Ultras on the other hand requires you to wait for quite a while for a chance to get one of them, if they try to make a banner containing at least 2-3 Ultras then that might just solve the case

Honestly my luck on the Buu duo banner was insane(I think i did like 3 Rotations got them to 6 Star) pulled i think no LF that was not them and went out. Now i have 7 K saved up and not even my daily Mission Stams completed. Im on like day 7 of 14 and the last 3 days get you 700CC as well.
i was doing a few training battles and I decided to run ultra rose and I was getting demolished so it became a 1v3 and some how I got the perfect hand and came back and won . then I decided to run tag 4s, ssj2 and ssj3 goku and vegeta and purple 17, while I haven't had as many blues I had alot of greens.
I have no ultras and it feels like when I fight them in pvp they are just so much stronger than everything else. Even if my opponent isnt good they just spam the cards and win cause it just obliterates me
I haven't have any Ultra Units besides the free Ultra Units... i can't even get one.... Like Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black and many more like SSJ4 Gogeta. For years. I haven't got a singluar any ultra unit. Not one or two. It was been years now until 6th anniversary... It's probability rate of getting one is low as heck.
hey man, quick advice, you think too much about 'what they want' the meta to look like. The meta is just a byproduct of their revenue model and their dollar eyes. Ultra's bring in most money means more ultra's. This is why powercreep in the first place exists, it's part of their revenue model. The flip side is atm... they think Ultra's are more HYPE than LF's because it earns more money. But it's just because they are more powerful. This will make the game unhealthy, people will start using more and more combinations of units they don't like but just need to win.
I am quitting the game soon due to UL being too demanding from the wallet to even get a single copy for 5*, plus the 20KCC cap doesn’t help, even if you save you can and most probably will get SHAFTED (I play PVP but never had the time to reach god rank with the best meta team when I got luck because I actually have a life)
This game is starting to lose my interest with the obsessive ultras and broken ass units., which sucks because I used to love playing this game and there ruining it by being more money hungry.

1/ Remove Leader. I get why they made it, but that was good for the early part of the game (when it DIDN'T exist). Now, we should concentrate on tags. I think Zenkai era, while very cancer and expensive, was the best time because each team had a unique identity linked to your playstyle. Yes, Regen was really strong, but it was a defensive playstyle so not everyone could play it correctly for example. Right now, we have teams like Future who is just Regen's defense + prime Son Family Offense + priority. 2/ Remove ULTRA abilities. No reason why Hit/Rose should have naturally +200%, Kid Buu at 140% + Pen Cut, etc... We don't need that. They don't even need it to be the top 4 with all 4 ULs. At least they would be only a tier above, because right now, if your offensive threat isn't an UL, you just have a huge disadvantage. 3/ Powercreep Defense to handle offense better. No unit in the game right now can handle Rose/Hit's offense at all. EXCEPT... other UL? Why is the most powerful offense ALSO the strongest defense option. It makes them MANDATORY, which is terrible design. I love androids, and 17GT & 17MVP are excellent defensive units, but Rose out heals both, he locks main better than 17MVP, 17GT doesn't have a cover nor Ki control, like why is Rose's cover >>>>> GT17??? Why does UGB have universal cover + combo reset AND you are rewarded? 4/ Remove UL from boost system. I get that Legends wants the game's level to be : Recent UL > Zenkai LF > LF > SP, but we don't need Ultra's to get a featured boost, and possibly come back. Imagine next month is Movies theme, and UGB comes back boosted??? 5/ With how mandatory UL are for PvP (ranked or tournament), they NEED better banners. More LFs, pity system, etc... This isn't Dokkan or OPTC or other gachas. This is a PvP centered Gacha, and players should have reasonable chance of getting good units. That's what was good early on until first LFs. Or at least have good ways of getting teams competitive. Like if you get shafted on UL right now, your options are Android, but GT17 hasn't reappeared and 17MVP doesn't have his banner, Movies/Hybrid but Pan/Beast are MIA, or GT, who again is missing 17GT. That's why we should have new Let's Go Legends, where they Zenkai all the units and give them to us. At least we could get a basic team set up easily and can plug and play a new unit. And 1%SP should just be permanent, while LFs come faster. If they life span is half of previously because of UL, and UL come back every 4 months, LFs should come back on banners bare minimum 2 months later, if not sooner.

i think all ultras are fine except gogeta blue tbh, ive never seen a unit stop ALL blast units from being used in the entire game, at least rosé can be beaten with skill, but UGB needs 0 skill to use and even the most skillful player not playing an OP strike based team cant beat him

They almost making it so demaning to have at least a current Ultra in the meta to run in PVP. And if you don't have the right team for that Ultra, supporting that unit. Well that unit might get trashed around or carry you for weeks. Who fucking knows.
Ultras shouldn't get leader slot effect so you cant just run whatever together and steamroll ultras already dont need there ultra ability to ooga booga anyway so at least you use a unit that isnt an ultra

Most ultras are ok. But there are certain utility that makes them op. But most ultras are Saiyans which makes it difficult face against them.

His cover change was really good imo esp since it can stop green and blue cards and during that time droids green card was an auto lose lol

The man makes sense. Everyone gets hyped with new units, they're also on boost, but in the end of the day players that run units like Gogeta,Hit,Rose etc don't care. They rule PvP

I think I remember this conversation happening like 3 years ago with LFs and my response is the same as then. Once we get a ton more ultras, they will stop being the problem with the game.
New tiers of units are always awful to play against at first.
The thing with Ultras is that they don't rerun with each other, that alone makes it a bigger problem compared to LFs as even when LFs were minimal they constantly rerun whenever a new one drops, on top of that leader slot has made Ultras a flexible choice on any teams, making them all the more horrendous to deal with. Unless they can patch up a way to make a banner consist of at the very least 2 Ultras, I don't think Ultras will stop being a problem for this game

@@dawsondemott1837 If you're saying 3 years ago, leader slot hasn't even existed yet, you're forced to build a team around the LF itself akin to how Ultras get their ultra ability maximized just by being in the leader slot, and yes I'd agree that we'll be seeing more Ultras as time goes on, but that itself is a problem if they do not try to rerun a few Ultras in one banner, what makes LF bearable is that you don't have to specifically wait for a banner to come again so that you can summon for them, Ultras on the other hand requires you to wait for quite a while for a chance to get one of them, if they try to make a banner containing at least 2-3 Ultras then that might just solve the case

@@dawsondemott1837 it isn't exclusive to Ultras yes, but it is way more specific on Ultras, Ultra ability being locked behind building a team around a specific tag was a way to make people build a team revolving around said tags to maximize the boost obtained, yet with the leader slot, it is possible to bypass that team building process completely, while +30% ain't much in all honesty, it still counts especially when you're building a team with multiple Ultras in it, and honestly it's been 1.5 years since the first summonable Ultra, I see no reason why they couldn't make a banner contain previous Ultras

Honestly my luck on the Buu duo banner was insane(I think i did like 3 Rotations got them to 6 Star) pulled i think no LF that was not them and went out. Now i have 7 K saved up and not even my daily Mission Stams completed. Im on like day 7 of 14 and the last 3 days get you 700CC as well.

i was doing a few training battles and I decided to run ultra rose and I was getting demolished so it became a 1v3 and some how I got the perfect hand and came back and won . then I decided to run tag 4s, ssj2 and ssj3 goku and vegeta and purple 17, while I haven't had as many blues I had alot of greens.

I haven't have any Ultra Units besides the free Ultra Units... i can't even get one.... Like Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black and many more like SSJ4 Gogeta. For years. I haven't got a singluar any ultra unit. Not one or two. It was been years now until 6th anniversary... It's probability rate of getting one is low as heck.

hey man, quick advice, you think too much about 'what they want' the meta to look like.
The meta is just a byproduct of their revenue model and their dollar eyes. Ultra's bring in most money means more ultra's.
This is why powercreep in the first place exists, it's part of their revenue model.
The flip side is atm... they think Ultra's are more HYPE than LF's because it earns more money. But it's just because they are more powerful.
This will make the game unhealthy, people will start using more and more combinations of units they don't like but just need to win.

I am quitting the game soon due to UL being too demanding from the wallet to even get a single copy for 5*, plus the 20KCC cap doesn’t help, even if you save you can and most probably will get SHAFTED

This game is starting to lose my interest with the obsessive ultras and broken ass units., which sucks because I used to love playing this game and there ruining it by being more money hungry.

I literally still get one shotted by ultra rose who is out the boost they need to cut the obsessive ultra banners there gonna lose players overtime if they keep taking this direction comparing characters from last anniversary to now it's ridiculous dude it's getting completely out of hand with the broken ass units, the game is hell on earth If your a pvp player with none of the ultras which are also nearly impossible for you to pull unless you dump money into this game which is stupid. They're ruining there game and they need to change the meta before they kill there fanbase off
1/ Remove Leader. I get why they made it, but that was good for the early part of the game (when it DIDN'T exist). Now, we should concentrate on tags. I think Zenkai era, while very cancer and expensive, was the best time because each team had a unique identity linked to your playstyle. Yes, Regen was really strong, but it was a defensive playstyle so not everyone could play it correctly for example. Right now, we have teams like Future who is just Regen's defense + prime Son Family Offense + priority.
2/ Remove ULTRA abilities. No reason why Hit/Rose should have naturally +200%, Kid Buu at 140% + Pen Cut, etc... We don't need that. They don't even need it to be the top 4 with all 4 ULs. At least they would be only a tier above, because right now, if your offensive threat isn't an UL, you just have a huge disadvantage.
3/ Powercreep Defense to handle offense better. No unit in the game right now can handle Rose/Hit's offense at all. EXCEPT... other UL? Why is the most powerful offense ALSO the strongest defense option. It makes them MANDATORY, which is terrible design. I love androids, and 17GT & 17MVP are excellent defensive units, but Rose out heals both, he locks main better than 17MVP, 17GT doesn't have a cover nor Ki control, like why is Rose's cover >>>>> GT17??? Why does UGB have universal cover + combo reset AND you are rewarded?
4/ Remove UL from boost system. I get that Legends wants the game's level to be : Recent UL > Zenkai LF > LF > SP, but we don't need Ultra's to get a featured boost, and possibly come back. Imagine next month is Movies theme, and UGB comes back boosted???
5/ With how mandatory UL are for PvP (ranked or tournament), they NEED better banners. More LFs, pity system, etc... This isn't Dokkan or OPTC or other gachas. This is a PvP centered Gacha, and players should have reasonable chance of getting good units. That's what was good early on until first LFs. Or at least have good ways of getting teams competitive. Like if you get shafted on UL right now, your options are Android, but GT17 hasn't reappeared and 17MVP doesn't have his banner, Movies/Hybrid but Pan/Beast are MIA, or GT, who again is missing 17GT.
That's why we should have new Let's Go Legends, where they Zenkai all the units and give them to us. At least we could get a basic team set up easily and can plug and play a new unit.
And 1%SP should just be permanent, while LFs come faster. If they life span is half of previously because of UL, and UL come back every 4 months, LFs should come back on banners bare minimum 2 months later, if not sooner.
Ultra Debt Legends. Its like tge introduction to Zenkai all over again except this time they lock it behind a 0.15% pull rate.
I do agree that ultras should be better than sps,but that doesnt mean that they should be in completely different realms in powercreep.

We still waiting for an LF ultra gohan gote. Once we get an ultra ssj2 gohan, then it’s gonna be another hybrid Saiyan meta again. Can’t wait for ultra gohan ultimate null endurance and revival. Most ultras are ok. But there are certain utility that makes them op. But most ultras are Saiyans which makes it difficult face against them.
