- Hello again guys, In todays video I show you my completed Aero Precision 350 Legend Build with a 20" Ballistic Advantage DMR Carbine Length Barrel, Performance Series. I take you to the range and show you the first shots and some groups using some Winchester 145gr FMJ practice ammo. This rifle ran flawless didn't have a single issue. Hey there i stumbled across your channel because im looking to build a 350 Legend upper for this coming deer season and ive seen too much inconsistency with bear creek arsenal. What buffer weight are you running and is the feed ramp an enlarged single feed ramp or a traditional double feed ramp just slightly enlarged? I think different manufacturers do it slightly different and clearly this gun seems to have no issues
I'm running a standard carbine buffer weight. I'm also using a Strike Industry's carbine flat wire buffer spring. The barrel is made by Ballistic Advantage, here's the link to that video ... th-cam.com/video/_OnMbu9ZktQ/w-d-xo.html

Remember the days when Cabelas was awesome with optics deals on black friday? Bass pro ruined it all. I use to clean up on scope deals, that vortex crossfire was always on steep discounts! Love BA barrels, got a few vids coming up with two uppers im working on. Piss off the tubes!

Well now, that’s a decent rifle! Those groups are pretty good, especially the second to last group. BA barrels are pretty sweet. It will be interesting to see the groups with some dialed in rounds!

That was unfortunately the first time out to the rifle range this year😫 and I felt like I was rushing things 😉 ... no excuses I will get it dialed in with reloads and ready for next year's hunting season. I picked up an Aero Precision 350 Legend several months ago. Love it. Will be hunting with it this year. I'll be hunting with Winchester 180 gr ammo

I wish mine ran as great as yours! I've got the 16" BA barrel with a carbine buffer setup and Duramag mags (CMMG/Duramag/Ruger mags are all made by the same company). Every 20 or so rounds of the Winchester FMJ I get a failure to feed, and nearly every round of the Winchester Super Suppressed I'm getting failures to feed (shooting suppressed, of course). I know you haven't run into this, but this at least is an example of a similar setup working.
Are you running a standard low-profile gas block, or are you using an adjustable gas block?
@@JerrBearTactical Standard lo-pro. I've got a spare adjustable, but others seem to run it without issue so I'm not convinced it's a gas problem.
