I’ve spent all night after work watching as many Chester videos as possible so I could just feel closer to him and all the guys! These are some of the best moments if they’re lives together! The weirdest thing is that you can't find a video in any corner of the internet of Chester being sad or depressed. He was always the funny, vitalist dude and that dark side of him was never seen by a fan, in almost 20 years.
You can find a couple of interviews where he talks about his problems but what happened was impossible to predict from this side of the screen.
It had to be true what he said about being on his own. He was perfectly normal when he was with any other people, but when he was alone he was his own worst enemy.
Rest in peace Chester, truly one of a kind.

it's true , someone made a video about body language....he never relaxes, he is constantly over - acting....so even he himself could believe everything was ok...but the thing is when there is no one to watch, you stop pretending it's all "ok" and everything comes back at you...hitting you quite hard sometimes....and worst of all is, when it happens your are most likely alone , there is no audience to watch when things start to get out of control....chances are good everything gets pretty bad pretty quick sometimes.
I have a strong feeling something similar really happened....

they clearly had a great balance between work/life/self going. To be solid for 20 years is a massive thing, and even if they fought or something behind close doors, Ive never seen anything that spilled out into the public eye, they clearly got along great. Its great you pointed that out, must make it even harder now tho, how can you hire a new vocalist, the LP sound with Chester is iconic.
Cheeeeeeeeesteeeeeeeeeeer x( a part of my childhood rests alongside you. Cannot and will never forget what your voice, lyrics and songs did to me. Gave me comfort and understanding. Will try to remember Linkin Park just like I did, when I first fell in love with them back in '00!

So close too it being 2yrs already 😭 I can't stop watching 'One more light' 💔 then came across this video and I'm literally in tears, so so sad that he was only really 'happy' when around his family and friends etc but his demons were just far too much for him too cope with.....wish he knew how many lives he actually saved!
