Well known fact, Grimes didn't want to do the agreed spot when they got up there so Jack had to pull grimes off with him and almost died from having him land on his head
Not to be that guy....but grimes being "hefty" wouldn't make him fall faster....that's not how it works...
Grimes tried to back out of the spot once they got up on the stereo balcony. Jack told him that the only way down was to do the spot. He tried to pull Grimes to throw him off but Grimes hesitated and it caused both to go off and just clip the table. When they landed, all Grimes weight landed on Jack's head which cracked his skull. It caused Jack permanent blindness in his right eye and deafness in his right ear not to mention the other brain damage he suffered. Jim Cornette said that when New Jack initially started in the business, he was a damn good technical wrestler.

Newjack seems like the guy that when something happens and you apologize sincerely and even make efforts to make good and Jack says "it's all good man👍" only to try and kill you for that incident several months later.
No Vic was going to do it and fhen right as they were up in the rafters Vic pussied out and fell on Jack's head. All the tome Jack was in hospital Vic never phoned or visited him to see if he was alright.

Respectfully this is one of the big myths in pro wrestling.
Vic Grimes did huge stunts before and after this that made this look like childs play.
When Vic got up there, new Jack was high and Vic was in fear of him botching the original spot.
Vic told the hardcore legend to throw him (Vic grimes) off solo instead but Jack said ‘Here We Go’ and this was the result.
Look at the XPW stunt a year after this or Vic’s Indy career, this stunt was just another day and even one of his smaller bumps.
Respect to both men.

I do not quite get it, isn't that a confession of an attempted murder? That does not have a statue of limitation, police should start making a case just by those words, why is he getting away with it, if police force doesn't even try to punish an attempted murder what are they even for?
