The first 38 seconds were amazing. The suspense was great especially with the simplicity of the first bits, and the inclusion of the original theme was seamless, I didn't even notice it at first. And it really kicks into greatness at 0:58. Good job, man.

More than likely Sun and moon. Junichi Masuda is tired of being predictable. So possibly he might squeeze in a big portion of Sinnoh's storyline into sun and moon (Let's face it. You're going to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time among a small 4 island archipelago.) to suppliment game time. The reason I believe is that we already detected the patter of new game releases and he's caught onto it too. (Which is why he didn't make Pokemon grey and instead went with Black2/White2 which are direct sequels to Gen 5. This is also why we didn't even get a Pokemon Z and immediately went to Gen 7. We saw it coming! If we didn't then we well indeed would have gotten those games.) Also there's the Nintendo NX to consider where they might just make an open world Pokemon we'd really look forward too.
The reason why RSE remakes were needed in the first place was to be able to capture all of the Legendaries and be able to complete the "Legit" pokedex, though they did give the actual game a spit-polish.
It still is considered a need to get other games to collect a certain feature of a gen 6 game. Though, there is no way to transfer gen 5 to gen 6 other than pokemon bank.
metayoshi1 most people had a copy of atleast gen 5 with Dialga/Palkia. And if you really didn't have a way to get them with 2 games because of only having 1, you could send Shiny Pokémon you don't need or a Shiny BR clone into GTS.
