  • Hello TH-camrs! A special hello to my fellow PRELOADERS! For those of you that aren't PRELOADERS yet, hit that subscribe button and become one. In this video I visit Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida for the first time. It was a lot of fun! The best part of this event was meeting some of my PRELOADERS! There were a couple of PRELOADERS that I was in contact with and wanted to meet, but unfortunately we weren't able to make it happen. I'm sure we will meet eventually Eli and Karen.😊
I also did a live TH-cam video with Traveling Tall, where we did a 2 hour Q & A session with our subscribers. That was a lot of fun! If you get a chance, definitely check that video out.👍🏾
And lastly, I have a very big surprise for you guys in this video! Go in and check it out!!
You may be asking yourself, who are PRELOADERS?
    PRELOADERS:
Subscribers to this channel who are dedicated to being proficient in slow speed motorcycle operation.
    What does PRELOAD mean?
    PRELOAD:
Engaging the throttle to raise the RPM’s (revolutions per minute) above idle and holding the throttle there, with the clutch pulled in (no power to the rear wheel, “in reserve” “PRELOADED”). This process will make power to the rear wheel available to the rider immediately when the clutch is opened up. There’s no need for the rider to be concerned with twisting the throttle for power because it’s already PRELOADED.

SHOW YOUR MOTORCYCLE WHO THE BOSS IS! Practice, Practice, Practice because practice breeds confidence and a confident rider is a safer rider.
    Practice Sessions
Practice sessions are held on a weekly basis (Saturday or Sunday) in Pooler, GA. These sessions are free of charge to subscribers (Preloaders) to my channel only. All riders MUST complete a “HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT” form and submit it via email prior to participating in a practice session. Notification of upcoming practice sessions are emailed 5-7 days prior to a practice session. If you would like to be added to the email notification list, send an email to paying_it_forward_rs@aol.com and include your name, that you’re a subscriber and that you would like your email address added to the group email notification list.

51:53 orange motorcycle duck walker! haha Another one at 52:55 and a nice Roadmaster on the trailer kit near the end of the Condor demo. Nice Uturn at 1:13:37 everyone was watching! Thanks for sharing your time there! Looks like it was a lot of fun and you met a lot of good people there! Hoping to maybe make it down in a month, if you will be hosting a 11 April event. I need to see if I can get some time off and make a couple hotel reservations for the trip there and back. Hoping the weather will be good, just have to do it and see and adjust if necessary.

Enjoyed the Video, one statement a CHP trainer for one of my safety courses said this and I never forgot it "As a motorcyclist, you are nothing more than a highspeed pedestrian with a flashlight." I always look for ways to improve and I thank you for all you do for us. Be safe.

That Condor Chock is phenomenal. I purchased one to mount on my Aluma Fold Up Trailer. It holds the bike rock solid. I've had it for 3 years, LOVE it.
I'm on my 3rd Wing. My first Wing was a used 1994 that had low mileage. I went to buy oil to change the oil on my Honda 750K, and left with my 1st wing. Lol. So you're not the only one..

Thanks for everything you do; not only for the amateur motorcycle community. What a wonderful example of humanity. You make the world a better place. Another special person once said: Justice grows out of the recognition of ourselves in each other. You exemplify that standard. Peace be unto you. By the way, I wouldn’t want to pay your property taxes! 😂 Ride safe.

Thanks for the videos and your time teaching the people the right techniques. I have been riding around 30 years and slow riding is a skill that I need to perfect. Most of the rides I have had are usually FJR 1300s, KTM 1290s adventures and some sport bikes. For my retirement present I decided to get a bagger. 2020 Indian chieftain Dark horse. My profession I worked in was similar to yours but I wore green for work for about 26 years. I’m not used to the weight of these big baggers but I have been going to the parking lots and practice in my figure eights and circles. Thanks for the videos I’m learning as I go.

    Hey Robert,
I really enjoyed the entire video of the Daytona trip I can clearly see the techniques taught in slow speed practices.
I Am so proud be apart of the pre-loader family.
I was extremely proud of how you navigated the tight figure 8 course like the boss you are commanding your motor cycle .
I am a four of ten and hope to be much better. Started out as a two.
I will be purchasing some you merchandise items keep doing what you do and also I have been married 35 years and you are absolutely right to talk with your wife on major purchases. That’s God’s order which is decent and in order.
If you are coming to California give a shout out and I know will meet you to show you the town!!

"Annoyed with myself!" If I had a nickel for every time I got annoyed with myself I would be a millionaire. Last week I had just completed a valve inspection on my Honda ST1300 and was waiting for some Hondalube to arrive from Amazon so I could reinstall my valve covers. I decided while I was waiting to replace the air filter cover to save some time. While doing so I dropped one of the screws into the cam chain galley that ended up behind the clutch basket. After hours of trying to find it with a borescope and a flexible magnet, I decided I needed to remove the front engine covers and oil pan. To make matters worse, while removing the front engine and water pump cover, the manual fails to worn you that you need a special tool to keep the water pump chain in place while removing the cover. If you don't do this, the chain and sprocket disengage and it is a couple more hours trying to get it back in place. All said and done, this turned out to be about 10 hours worth of work as well as new gaskets, new O rings, new thermostat (since I was already in there) and a whole lot of frustration. Moral of the story, always replace the valve covers when working with anything above the heads. Love your channel. Ps. Where can I find a wife that lets me get a practice bike like that:) You are blessed!

Robert in the video during the ride along I like how you are staying to the right side of the lane the guy in the orange bike is riding in the left side of the lane right next to the yellow line I never did like that love your videos love your channel!

Hey Bill. I was only on that side of the lane because he was on the left side. If he would have been on the right side, I would have been near the double yellow line. I can understand why you never liked it though.

That is a blessing. That's when you have your business in order. You can walk in just about most business and make a purchase. My name is Preston Honor and I brought a 2006 Harley Davidson Ultra classic and did not know how to ride it. My oldest brother who has been a motorcycle rider for years, came to my house and spent the whole day teaching me how to check and ride my bike. Last year my hip went out because of my job and weight. Now I'm trying to get myself together and get back to riding my bike. I watch your TH-cam video too learn more and keep my mind positive that I will get back to riding. I'm from Baton Rouge, LA and pray that I can ride soon. Thank you for your videos Mr. Simmons.
