- In this video I give a full in depth tour and test drive of the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

What a beautiful car, and a great color combo as well! I love these wheels, espcially with a silver, gray, or black exterior color. I got to drive a 2LT with the RS package and it was a blast.
My uncle has a black 2009 ss convertible with black interior in impeccable condition! I love this car so much!

yes! they are gorgeous! I really want a white with black rims. they just look soo clean cut and at the same time fierce. they did well with designing them that's for sure.

I had a 1968 Ford Mach 1 428 cid engine with a C6 automatic, was the last fast car I owned. Had loads of fun. The 60's was a time much simpler than today.
I (my dad) has a Victory red, 2LT RS Convertible. Even without the SS specs, it looks badass.

Kyle you need to shift a little bit later around the 6/7 mark when you are taking off. Also when you drive a manual hold the camera with the left hand so you can shift + steer without moving it

Great video. The top removal top procedure seems really cheap for a modern car. Also that rear cover would have been acceptable back in 1993 not in 2011 for a car that is as pricey as this. Fail on this convertible for me. Would choose the Coupe SS all the way and something else if I wanted a convertible.
Not a fan of the hard top, nor am I a fan of most American cars but I gotta admit, this I like!!

@Buttnut105 it's based on a 4 door car and has a corvette engine. It adds soo much weight. It's a muscle car, not a sports car. Muscle cars are not meant to be thrown around, there meant to accelerate to a high speed in a short time.
I passed my road test, and also was perfect on the parking. My brother passed but got some points off on parking. He gets a 10k car that is only three years old. I have to drive a minivan to school everyday. Logic? nonextistent!
i absolutely agree, i have an automatic 2010 Jetta SE, and it has tiptronic, which is the same as paddle shifting, but you push the shift knob up and down towards a + and a - sign. its not the same man. its not the same. saving up for a 2004 Nissan 350z manual.

It really is an excellent car. I can't understand how ignorant people can talk smack about Camaros. I bought mine in Jan. 2010 and it's such a blast to drive. I have a video posted but I'm definitely going to make a better one. Total muscle!! I know people may misconstrue my comment as derogatory, but I feel that way about all convertibles. There's just something very femme about rag tops. Well enjoy your Camaro when you get it, you will have fun in it that's for sure.

it was a great vid. the one thing that makes it great is its offered in 720 pix I have a 42"flat screen tv hooked up to my massive computer looking at it in the full with if the tv with that much pix it seemed like I was right there it shows great deatil and I just wish all the video's we see on you tube could be seen in that way its like vhs vs blu-ray but this car is so awesome man ..but you need to put a K & N BREATHER OPEN HER UP LET HER TAKE A BREATH!!!

That's one thing I love about being an American... You're free to make choices without being persecuted... If the manufactures only want to cater toward a certain group, do you think they would've made these cars in only manual transmissions???

I'm nit quite sure if it is because of the different clips you took from another SS, but if it's not, take a look at the fuel tank at 1:35 and then at 7:05. Did it seriously lowered that much during the review?! Anyway i love this car soo much!

I've never had such great or big cars like you, but some Durango's and Explorer's-Expedition's has been the biggest car i had. Im 19 now and i've started with and Honda Accord mecanic 1989, that was like 1 year and 2months counting and more than 25cars. @MrXCharmz Yeah, the automatic has a 400 hp L99 , the manual has 426 hp LS3.

May I recommend to you a GoPro suction cup mound camera for when you need to do a mounted shot? GoPro cameras are great for extreme sports and automotive documentation.
I have been at my job for more than six years and not at a entry level i actually machine the brakes 4 this car and actually own so shows what u know about me and my attitude i was just simply saying and many test drivers have said if want a sports car manual transmission is the way to go

Great, you (as a american) can handle a manual gearbox. Here in Europe it´s standard and just a few expensive cars were shipped with a automatic transmission as standard.
