It really isn't. The Flammenwerfer 41's range was 32 meters but the fire could at times go longer distances. The flamethrower should not insta kill but rather be used to do crowd damage and force enemies out of a position from a decent distance away.
@LoliPolice-bf7mw It's a stand-in for the few moments of agony before oxygen deprivation knocks them out and/or the time spent in hospitals with severe burns and infections. Those parts wouldn't be quite as fun to deal with in-game.

Love the Hell Let Loose videos always a joy to watch, also the flamethrower is hell to play except thoes few occasions where you incinerate an entire squad. I recommend only using the flamethrower for certain objectives on certain maps. If the Map includes trenches and fortifications as the capture point you will have more success just as long as you can get within 30 meters of it... but for real though the flamethrower being used in the right situation can cause insane damaged and make the other teams life hell

So far the communities are friendly, and there aren’t many hackers.
There is that neat future when it comes to grenades. When you pull the pin and die grenade will drop and kill your friends. Learned that hard way when I was in a ditch with my platoon...

Easy way to get class experience: Build 3 supply nodes at the start of the game, then switch to the class you want to level up. It's the only way I could have gotten assault's level 9

As unrealistic as flamethrowers are usually portrayed for the sake of balance, that's actually one of the better ones. I like it.
