One of the main reasons why this has more detail than a regular autoworld is because ertl dosent use the brands ertl, ertl authentics, racing champions or RC2 for marketing they sell them under autoworld so they use all these older castings as pep them up and sell the, under autoworld. Now the autoworld 68-71 chargers, and the 67 camaro's, are ertl authentics carryover cars so you'll see those cars have moving driveshafts opening glove box, better motor detail, carpet moving seats, and those awesome scissor hinges

The butterscotch color is pretty cool. I ordered a blue metallic 1970 Ford Torino from ERTL/Auto World; should be arriving next week.

I'm a bit of a Franklin and Danbury Mint snob but this is a nice looking 1:18 by Autoworld !! Of course it being a Mopar helps !! Nice review fellas!!

Hey guy's love this car and mainly for the color, they call it butterscotch it's very unique and looks awesome with the black top. I have the 1971 plymouth 440 GTX in yellow, really nice car similar in style, but you're right about this one the detail is above par, thanks again.

I have the Welly version of the 1970 Cougar Eliminator, really nice model but also no pop up headlights. Would of been more cool to have them but I love that grill with the headlights down it makes that grill really stand out and that's what I love about that car. Also the rear taillights are awesome as well, unique car. Think it's so cool you review these cars, thanks!

The glove box does open on this model. Visors come down also. The detail is great on this because it’s actually a GMP machined car that auto world sold there’s all sorts of partnerships and weird behind the scenes business deals. Auto world is just the name on the box they don’t make cars. There’s Ertl, Acme GMP. Etc.

In autoworld usually if it has a real hood hinges it is also has a rotating driveshaft when you turn the rear wheels and that is the top detail of autoworld. The regular detail has a cheap hood/door hinges and on some models sometimes trunk doesn't open. So maybe the key is the hood hinges.

I bought the orange one with the white roof. Amazing model...until you reach the roof. Supposed to be a vinyl top, but theres virtually no texture, or vinyl roof seem. The side window trim is kinked. The head lining is saggy its looks like it's broken. And the removable sunroof fits like crap to .
