Sometimes it's all about getting away from crowds and places for a little while. Soothing sounds of rain, random occasional traffic and peaceful streets make time decelerate, clearing path for some fresh thoughts and new ideas. Thank you.
I love when u walk through that small street with many little detail like vending machine, small trees, bicycle etc. Its so soothing for me. Good job nice video 👍❤️
I lived in Kyoto for 5 years, after he left the station I said "go left" etc... He overshot at the river, should have taken the Keihan line, went to Higashi Honganji first... but this rainy meandering walk is just fine as well. Thanks for posting.
It gives me weird feeling. I went to Kyoto last year on rainy season, still remember the road and atmosphere lol. When you walk past starbucks on kyoto station, I said in my mind "there's BIC Camera after this" It was raining when I go there haha.
could have been me ;) it's totally normal isn't it? I do it all the time so that my good shoes don't get wet. In summer it's also refreshing. Much better than swimming in your shoes the whole day

So nostalgic! I lived in Kyoto for a while and you almost walk right past my apartment in the video.
I love those rainy walks :D
Was in Kyoto in May for 2 weeks and stayed in an apartment close to Kiyomizu train station. Really enjoyed seeing familiar scenes. Thanks for posting.

I was there this past week as well! Love Kyoto!
I miss KYOTO!!!!
beautiful river walk
Very nice! Was in Kyoto during the winter, it's pretty damn cold for being so filled with tourists!
Love your videos. Thanks for taking the effort!
Very very nice. Thanks! So beautiful!!!
Starting from my fav smoking area at station and closing at another fav standing ashtray at kiyomizu entrance alley.
Walking in a rainy day, Wow!
I have lived there for a year. I wanna go back so badly Q.Q
i miss kyoto
same. Tokyo was amazing, Kyoto felt like home.
Me too.
It looks like a cold day, take care of your health!
feels like a piggyback ride on someone else's shoulders.
I wish to go to visit kyoto one day. I read a lot of manga about Batosai Himura! : )
hope to see more videos from Kansai.
17:19 where the Kamo river gets it's name :D
Sorry, but I don't know much about Kyoto. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamo_River#Onomastics
Oh, I meant the duck noises at 17:19... The kamo river uses the "duck" kanji in it's name.
that's too kamo shiremasen
I don't know whether you meant to, but that's a really nice pun (aka oyaji gag)
26:09 gaijin wearing flip-flops in the rain

3:28 anyone knows what is that sound? I heard it on every train station but never knew what it was for (not the traffic light sound)
Cross sound?
@@Rambalac no, it is a slow "diinggg donggg" I looked up and found that it is the "ticket gate chime"
take how long to reach there?
(Shinsekai-Tsutenkaku).
