I like the video. I'm studying Wing Chun and it seems to me SLT is different depending on who teaches. You definitely put great advice on positions in the form. Which helps a lot! My question to you Sifu, why can't the SLT form stay the same for the art of Wing Chun? Why the indifference?
I believe its because there are different lineages. I studied the Ip Man Lineage Wing Chun. Where we called it Siu Lim Tao - Little Idea. Its very close to what Sifu David Wong is teaching in these videos. Just my thoughts on it. Sifu David Wong may have a different opinion.
I think sense of correct SLT form can come from practicing SLT in front of wooden dummy - arm positions & movement is conditioned relative to dummy arms, upper, mid etc. Keep open mind about form & technique & relate to natural movement of your own physique & principles of Wing Chun - efficiency, speed & Qi.
