How to Mix YInMn Blue Hue in Oil - Part 1

Have you wanted to add the hard-to-find YInMn Blue to your palette?

Winsor and Newton French Ultramarine (PB29) (most Ultramarine Blues will work)

The specific cobalts are fairly forgiving in mixes- we tested another paring of cobalts that also worked with different brands.

The choice of brands in this video are pretty flexible. There are two main blends: basically warming an ultramarine blue toward violet, or using a blend of cobalts with white. The cobalts will behave a lot like genuine YInMn in some ways (like when mixed with reds). We've linked the exact colors in the description to their pages on Paint List
