Krumping is one of the dance genres that require the longest physical endurance. For a man, dancing Krumping continuously for three minutes is already difficult and exhausting, yet Yuxin did have to sing, rap and dance while managing her expressions and finding camera angles continuously. Xin is indeed phenomenal. She only released Epsilon in Apr 2021 and I hv never expected a full-length album to come out right after she goes solo. She said she has planned for this for 6 years, even before she got famous. Ever since the album concept was released I was already MINDBLOWN by the cultural value embedded in this and the fact that we are getting 10 mvs and choreographies. This level of dedication has all my respect. And with every song that was released I was just shooked over and over again by the potential Xin has as a professional dancer and a thoughtful producer. The lyrics, sampling, melody, rhythm, choice of dance genre, storyline that links all mvs, she managed to nail all these and I am at loss for words. I hv no idea when this project was started. But I am just so glad to see that a young female artists is putting forward a quality work like this.

I'm also a Hmong/Miao diaspora, and we can't know for certain unless Liu Yuxin says it herself, but it looks more like she was drawing inspiration from the Dong people. They are especially known for their unique architecture as seen at 0:50 (search Dong Drum Tower). The silver jewelry looks kind of similar but I think that's because Miao and Dong people lived beside each other for centuries and have shared influences on each other. It's nice that LYX is showcasing where she's from, as her home province of Guizhou is super diverse.
