I saw your discussion about Red River paper a short time ago on a blog maybe? I immediately ordered some and I agree, it's lovely. Your help is much appreciated.
Thank you for the information, I need a new printer. I used to have a Cannon Bubble Jet printer that had more cartridges and the pictures did have prettier colors. I now have a Cannon and it eats up the ink. I love your work.
Thank you for sharing this info. Much appreciated as I have been very disappointed with the quality of my printouts on the paper that I am using not to mention how many ink cartridges I go through that are quite expensive.
Oh my gosh!!!! The two packs of paper canvas arrived today and I did a test sheet....the difference is 100 times better!! Incredible! (Of course I have printed out probably over a thousand sheets of various tags, kits and ephemera and cut them out over the last year...now they look terrible to me!!! 😫). Thank you for the advice. Now to figure out a way to afford it! 😆
Hello, I want to thank you for your wonderful videos first of all. I looked on Amazon for the red river printer paper. Your link does not show red river paper. It only shows other papers like Canon, Epson, etc. When I do a search for red river on Amazon nothing red river paper comes up. I wonder if Amazon has quit carrying it? Do you have a direct link that you can share. Thanks for all you do, Mary at Hart Lane Studio
I am so sorry but I have one more question... is there a reason you print your tags in the ink jet versus the laser? Does the cardstock have a hard time going through laser? Thank you again.
The special finish on inkjet photo paper is not made for the toner and heat that occurs during laser printing otherwise I'd definitely use it. There is cardstock for laser printers though at the office supply stores and I use it occasionally.
super helpful video, subbed! I dont suppose you could help with this: I can only buy 1 printer not both...if you could only pick ONE of those 2, which would you get? ;) Thanks in advance. Maybe you said it in the video & i missed it? (i had a few interruptions). my apologies if so.
I don't think I can answer that. One thing I prefer with the inkjet prints is their matte appearance, laser images have a shine to them. But I like that laser toner lasts much longer and that I can coffee dye the prints afterwards and they don't bleed. Lots of factors to consider.
Thank you for your video. It, and the comparison video were helpful! I have a question. Maybe I’m reading it incorrectly, but when I go to Red River site and find 8.5 x 11 paper canvas paper, it looks as though 100 sheet ream is approximately $33.00. Does that sound about right? I am used to going through 100 sheets just playing around and resizing things, etc. 😝. I guess I could save it for printing only images I am sure I will use. Do you know if there is a place to buy and get a price cut for ordering a box? Thanks!
Test prints should be done on copy paper first. The paper is worth every penny for finished projects. All prices and quantifies available should be listed on their site. If they have discounts or sales I'm sure it's displayed there as well. Perhaps they have a mailing list you can join as well.

There are 2 links to Red River below the video, and then a link to Amazon :)
Where do you get the paper you put your signatures into?

Does the epson or the canon scan well?
I just recently got an Epson V39 scanner and I really love it. More than the scanner on my Canon ImageClass.

Ephemera's Vintage Garden - thank you! I’m going to order some now and give it a try! Love the vibrant black and red print you used as example.
