I appreciate them blurring out the body; not just for the fact that it's a passed person, but it also gives the deceased the privacy and respect that they and the family deserve.
It is important for them to talk about the tragic thing that happened. I admire them for that. Their job is centred on saving lives... and that affects everyone mentally.
I was a lifeguard for some time and I can say the emotional wear and tear is so real. I can’t be near a pool/ body of water without keeping my eyes on the water and making sure everyone is ok. Idk if it would be considered ptsd but when I hear a lifeguard whistle or see facilities without basic equipment like backboards or even no lifeguards i get extremely anxious.
I suffer from PTSD and what you described sounds like some of the symptoms I'll get. Find someone to talk to, I know they'll never understand what you're feeling but you can't do it alone, but you CAN do it ❤️ just keep swimming mate
The pier here in Michigan would kill you! Unrailed concrete fair bit in the air on the side of the beach. Always wet and slippery with crashing waves where we let our kids run and play knowing the names of people who have slipped or jumped are painted on the end wet with the same waves that crashed them against the concrete and rocks
oh taco i feel you🥺 also got bless the lifeguards for always being so passionate about what they do and we don’t know the circumstances and if it was their fault or not. things happen and they grow and become more strong. god bless them
I feel horrible for the man that found him and put him on his board and all the lifeguards This poor man's family also I'm happy they don't have to sit an keep wondering where he is
I’m so thankful to those men and the lifeguards. That family is gonna be able to get closure and have a funeral. They won’t have to worry about see what happened to their loved one.
When they said his face was bleeding, my first thought was he might've got hit with a boat propeller, but it's kinda a long shot. Or he was attacked by something and drowned.
@@bonniej6222 I believe that’s what happened, seeing as he never signaled or was found struggling. I think the hit knocked him out and the guy found him, so nice to see a kind soul
I think some people can deal with problems in front of them i can ,my friends child would have died if the neighbours didn't resuscitate her son and kept calm. These men are amazing how they can deal with what they do.
What upsets me is the fact that people don't listen to rules Watching this show i see people who regardless of the strong current sign they swim all the way out and because of the rip currents it drags them further out
No disrespect but I love how it went from “I know this one is going to be deaceased😔” to “TAKE ME BACK TO THE SWEEET TIMESS🎶🎤🎸” sorry don’t bash me for this
Very sad and also very lucky if he was bleeding from the head that a shark didn’t take him or get the lifeguards!! Especially at Brontë I’ve been following shark activity at Brontë and they’re had been some 4-5 metre huge great whites VERY regularly there and they can taste blood miles away
So I'm guessing since the other beaches are smaller they need to share things such as the jet ski if they have a limited number? And a smaller group of life guards so they patrol all 3? I'm thinking way too much into this but I'm just curious 😂
Think it was less not exposing Taco, more needing more experience - they didn't know the guy was dead yet, so they needed someone who could perform recus on the back of a jet ski if needed.
I think he would eventually get exposed to it. But I think it’s how the team always feels with these things... it always takes a toll on the members. So him having less of the toll for now is better.
It's been several years since I've seen Xiaolin Showdown on Kids WB or even Cartoon Network, so let me know if you have any requests for a certain scene... And please let me know which episode it's from
If there is enough senior staff on board this is exactly the type of calls junior staff should be exposed to. At some point during this kind of profession you are going to be exposed to a traumatic death. How else will you learn? Through a traumatic exposure when there’s no other more senior staff to deal with it? Better to learn when you have lots of other senior staff side by side with you to help you through the process so when/if you’re alone when it happens you can better deal with it. Sorry, just hate all these ‘juniors can’t deal with it ‘ crowd, give them a chance in a controlled environment with much support and they might surprise you when it’s a ‘shit hits the fan’ environment
He was a trainee and wasn't able to continue as a professional lifeguard, he had just started and it would be unfair to expose him when he hasn't been deemed an actual lifeguard yet. they were in a position where they didnt need to expose him and plenty of the trainees do get exposed- jesse did a rescue with a suicide on his first day and maxi did resus at 16
The mans hands were so pale. They save so many other people tho. You can se how passionate they are about this job. God bless them!
I appreciate them blurring out the body; not just for the fact that it's a passed person, but it also gives the deceased the privacy and respect that they and the family deserve.
Yeah they ain't gonna show a deceased body on a PG rated show anyhow.
It is important for them to talk about the tragic thing that happened. I admire them for that. Their job is centred on saving lives... and that affects everyone mentally.
When the guy said “taco you can’t come” I felt that🤧🙏🏻😞😔✌️
I died inside ☹😔
They retrieved a dead body out of the water, I dont think he exactly missed out
Why are you talking about taco, a dead fucking body got dragged out the water dude.

lol just commented this and then scrolled down lol
Lol

body retrieval is so important for closure for the family. No one likes doing it, but it is important nevertheless. Kudos to the lifeguards.

I saw the five alarming kid rescues of bondi rescuo and now I can't stop watching I feel so sad for taco
Just started watching Bondi since lockdown what wonderful guys very professional well done 🇬🇧🇬🇧
If the strongest swimmer in Australia dove into the seemingly quiet slow moving water that surrounds this island they would never be seen from again.
Do all 3 beaches share 1 jet ski, that’s crazy.
I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I think Bondi is the more popular so they have priority of jet skis possibly? But really not sure 🖤
bronte and tamarama are more experienced suffers who know how to manage themselves bondi is like a tourist location because the wave are smaller too
@@emilyallen1170 They dont but bondi have more experienced life guards and more people so they have most of them
@@daisy_the_dot_.4216 Oh okay. Thanks.

I live in Ireland so it's like a longggg flight and drive to get to bondi

i was wondering how many dead body do you come across
Around 2 a season/year but 12 drownings a year but that's what they said a while ago. Not too sure.
nemo T-T they said 12 drownings in Bali not Australia
@@caoimhec1344 oh okay.
I read an article that said they deal with a body a week due to suicide!

Actually, sharks aren't attracted to human blood. They go crazy for fish blood, but not ours
We don't taste very good either. Most shark attacks are "oh wait you're not a seal?"

when your 7 years late...
THE JET SKI NEEDS TO BE ON THE WATER, MANNED, AT ALL TIMES!!!!
Everything was sad until big* Kev came up like 👁👅👁 look whose here! Sorry this is a sad one 😿
but isnt it better to send taco out to let him be exposed to such things? i mean it comes with the job right? but still, such a caring team man
Think it was less not exposing Taco, more needing more experience - they didn't know the guy was dead yet, so they needed someone who could perform recus on the back of a jet ski if needed.
the cooling period he would need on a job like that and as a traine would put him out work for ages aswell which ain't great for trainees x
I think he would eventually get exposed to it. But I think it’s how the team always feels with these things... it always takes a toll on the members. So him having less of the toll for now is better.
I didn’t quite get why they didn’t let taco go on the rescue but they let Jesse go even though they were both trainees
i mean jesse grew up in gang....... also i think taco was newer
tacos one weird mf who hears about a dead body bleeding from the face and goes “i feel like i’ve missed something major” HUH??!!!
