HOW I REVIEW:
As you might know from my „How I make a buying decision“ video: Rather than just looking at the pros, I like to evaluate the cons or flaws of an item and then evaluate if I can live with them. That is why in my video reviews I concentrate more on the cons of an item rather than going over all the features. Therefore everything shown is just a fraction of all the points that go into the verdict and score of an item.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A QUICKLOOK AND A REVIEW:
A Quicklook usually covers pre-production units or items that I only used for a short period of time. While Reviews cover final items that I have reviewed intensively.

For all my videos I decided not to include links for the products. Everyone is living in different countries and therefore has to deal with different shipping and customs fees. That is why I would advice everyone just to Google the product within their country to find the best deals. For instance: I live in Germany, It wouldn’t make sense to give you a German link while you might be living in USA or Asia. I hope that is understandable.

Hey everyone.
I was just informed that there is a production error with the premium divider wall. Apparently the zipper was cut too short. I was told by Boundary Supply that this item will be recalled and replaced with new ones.
Thank you for that! I have the Pro with the premium divider and was so disappointed that it wouldn’t zip closed!

Good review. I also received the bag. In my opinion, it is heavier than other backpacks, but the bag itself is made with high-quality materials and is feature-rich. Also, the bag came with a load lifter, waist belt and chest belt. So, the bag is still feeling comfortable with all my gear.
Btw, the lining of the premium divider wall is a manufacturing error. I have highlighted this to their CS team, and they are willing to do a free replacement for me.

It's a shame that the premium divider has a production error. But It's great that they will replace it.
Yes, they charge the premium divider wall at a premium price but I ain't sure why the QC inspection can pass. Now I have to wait for their replacement. Probably will take more than a month to release the new one 🤷♂️

@@Youknowthebo Yes, definitely heavy for what it is. I agree with your point about adding all the accessories will make it even heavier. I also agree about the build quality. It is VERY well built for sure.
For me it looks more like a Prima Pro and less like a Errant pro ! I got the green color and yes it is heavy but build quality is amazing! If i have a concern is the black nylon in the from of the bag hope to be able to handle a heavy duty use without braking in pieces! I believe Boundary will have thought that already ! Nice video as well
It does look really nice, especially in that color, but I do feel your comment regarding weight. It feels like the bag is really close to being too much.

Wish they'd drop the full front hypalon and just go with plain X-PAC or Cordura. Gets scuffed up too easily and given the price of this bag I'd be annoyed.
As someone who living In tropical climate.. I personally dislike a lot of edc backpack back panel. Had to fit ventapak back panel to them. Every single time.
Agreed, whenever I am in Indonesia or whenever it's hot in Germany my back will sweat eventually no matter how ventilated the backpanel

The front material of the errant actually peels off after some use. Seems like the errant pro is using the same material for that.

Yeah, you are right. I actually forgot to talk about it. 😅
It makes absolutely no sense to have any of the walls on when using the camera cube which basically only allows you to also carry your computer and maybe small items in the outside pockets.
With all the R&D that goe sinto these things, they could have come up with a cooler design. Its just not very funky, is it?
Yeah, sometimes I wish for more unique designs, but bags are more or less designed to be
utilitarian. Being tools to carry your items. With the Errant I udnerstand that they want to keep the design language similar to the original Errant.
Nice looking bag but it looks a tad too big, and that is without the camera gear inside. The bag looks like it would not fit under the seat on a plane. That's a deal breaker for me.
Yeah, it is pretty big. While it is carry on size, I also expect it to be too big to fit underneath the seat

Sorry I did not specify my question correctly: I was rather wondering if you used it as a carry on bag and if those 2+ kg empty weight had made it difficult to get it through the initial check. I guess as a "regular" edc bag (ie. without the camera cube and gear) that empty weight might not be that much of a big deal.
@@Youknowthebo Ahh got ya. Ok well I'm not sure if it's SLC airport or that I fly Delta, but I use my PM Nomatic Travel Bag (the big one) completely loaded out as a carry-on and no-one has ever cared, so I don't anticipate the Errant pro being a carry on issue.
