@@JMc.D In my existential view they have long transcended the physical into a realm of cylindrical perfection. In this world of postmodern consumerism we find ourselves asking that most important of questions, why much we be content to gaze at this single object of desire? Damn it, I simply must have four! As a bicycle wheel builder, this was very fascinating to watch. I hope to be able to afford a classic car with wire wheels some day. Its so good to see that some things in this world are still very hand made. Thank you.
I love factory visits on 100% handcraft factories. There is no secrets and they hide nothing, you are welcome to try it yourself. It's kinda a subtle flex.
My Jaguar XK120MC had Borrani wheels with Rudge hubs. I was always amazed at how stiff those wheels were and how beautiful they looked. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Timeless and priceless...I hope this art form is passed down the generations to come and continue to share the art form with the rest of the world....👌
Many times I asked myself and I wonder why a car brand does not consider putting 4 Borrani on one of the now numerous special numbered series. At least it would be very special indeed
I find the 68 Triumph Spitfire very appealing sitting on wire wheels. Especially if the car is painted BRG and has tan interior. In my case both brg and tan, just missing the wire wheels.
You apparently don't understand that this is not the final step in the production/renovation process, and you're confusing "shape" with alignment of dozens of parts that are indeed properly shaped. The parts are initially fitted roughly together, and the truing at 5:35 is the point where they're all brought into alignment so the radial and lateral runout are eliminated. This part of the production process is called "truing."
@@ShawnD1027 Well never said I do, not an expert on wheels, just stating the obvious. Would love to see the final step and measurements with modern hardware and some confirmation on rigidity also.
I hate working on these kinds of wheels. Because once they bend. They are done. And once they start leaking....they are never quite good again. Resealing them never seems to last long
You can't put this wheel on any car.Be like putting lipstick on a cow.You might can get away with 1979 Nissan 280 zx at best. This car is similar to a 1967 275 Ferrari 4 cam.look it up,you can do it will not be pretty.I saw a set on wheels where inlay or center of the wheel look a man waving his hands over head.Absoutely terrible choose your wheels for your car.
This is not wheels, this is art, pure art.
It’s definitely wheels as well though. They’re literally making wheels.

I'd hang them on my wall and just admire them! :)
Hand crafted works of art
Italian pride and heritage their pursuit of style is timeless

Thanks to back genuine content like the old videos
Hand crafted art...such a beautiful thing.

I had Borrani 15" wheels on my 1946 MG TC . It completely changed the handling and character of the car, much improved.
First Nardi now Borrani?! you guys are knocking them out of the park! Thanks so much
Old style craftsmanship at its best! Beautiful works of art!
subscribed when I seen the Nardi steering wheels, next was this. awesome to such beautiful craftsmanship still lives.
Timeless and priceless...I hope this art form is passed down the generations to come and continue to share the art form with the rest of the world....👌
A lot of people forget that there are English subtitles available for this video... turn the captions on!
Thanks bro😉
Didn’t understand a word ...but understood the remaining 95% beautiful 👍
You can turn on the subtitles
Turn on the captions and watch it again.
Petrolicious is always solid.
Muy elegantes y bonitas las llantas de radio de Borrani. Ideales para montar en mi Seat 600
que maravilla, una fantástica artesanía, mil felicitaciones ¡¡

At least it would be very special indeed
Very labor intensive but beautiful.
This is art! Purely👌🏽👌🏽
Love to see how the rims are made.
This video is mainly about assembly.
Bello lavoro !
wow, wow, wow! what artists!
This wheels are just masterpieces
Nice spoke wheel .... Awesome 🎉
Another almost great film - if only I could have seen more of the process rather than the, albeit beautiful, art shots
👍👏👏👏👏👏🛠🇦🇷🙏🥇😀 Excelente tu trabajo tu trabajo es arte!
Mito, artigianato, bellezza
Made in Italy. Basta.
their passion is in their concentration.
Bellissimo!! ❤️❤️
Great video, I never knew Withworth invented the single 'spinner' nut
Whitworth invented many things and set the standards for metrology.
When a wheel is ARTWORK
Anybody else think this was a Texan wire wheels commercial? Lol 🤘30 spokes for life
Crager 84s on my 72 chevelle

This is art. Sana all
Like rim motorcycle. Antique. Lovely
Ik heb ook zo'n bedrijfje als dit gehad , erg leuk , totdat het spaak liep !
Ja, je hebt altijd van die mensen die stokken tussen de wielen steken... lastig inderdaad
Eccellenza ITALIANA! 🇮🇹🔝

Last week Nardi for my Alfa, this week Borrani for my Guzzi. Ciao Ciao; Mi manchi Lombardy. F-ing covid.
Who's Lombardi?
@@ThomasBromehead It's the Mcintosh OS autocorrect term for "Lombardy" (Lombardia) which is a province in Northern Italy.
Beautiful....❤️😘
Bravo!!!!!!
whats that soundtrack in the beginning?
I have a polished Borrani 3-ear knock-off nut as a paper weight. 😁
I want some of these wheels on my Toyota
no you don't... they need constant attention, need constant cleaning, wires look great when clean, but 1 trip and they are full of brake dust.
Per favore, gentili signori, posso comprare alcune delle vostre splendide ruote metalliche per il mio Pontiac Solstice?
I wish for wire wheels on my 68 Triumph Spitfire. The import duty and shipping results in almost tripple the price.
I have a 63 triumph toledo and 67 vauxhall cavalier but alas neither would suit wire wheels!
I find the 68 Triumph Spitfire very appealing sitting on wire wheels. Especially if the car is painted BRG and has tan interior. In my case both brg and tan, just missing the wire wheels.
I have some 5.5j 2 inch dish wire wheels on my 67 triumph gt6. Look lovely. Worth the money
Drive there, make a nice holiday out of it and smuggle it back home in your car 😉
100% platinum? Maybe ❤❤❤❤
Ok these Italians want to SWANG 🤘🏼😎
I wonder how many gold bricks it would take to put a set of these on my 360.
Maybe the finest wheels ever. But man are they hard to clean.....
They are handcrafters and artisans, they use hands... they arent clean cnc pussies.
Ahahahahah
Please add English sub titles

Ah, the same music as the video with of the Engineer with the black modified vintage 911.
The paradox of owning a set of these wheels and being able to clean them to appreciate their beauty
Why manufacturers use these anymore I would love to se those in cars
Awesome...btw, 9 thumbs down thus far from Houston Texas Swangas wire wheel owners 😉🤣
True art all the way
based on what i just saw and heard you could absolutely make these out of carbon fibre
Those wheels are pure porn! When I win the lottery....
He's saying something about wheels and cars?
They make 13/7 's ? ?? 14 /7??
Who dislikes this?
33 spoke 13.5"
Ah I bought a new set of those years ago for an Aston replica project that I never got round to. They cost a fortune.
Namaste
Only for rich people that can afford to employ some other poor bastard to clean them. Had them once .... never again
They're lovely but at 5:35 it seems that they arent perfectly shaped.
Johnny_McNeil you'll get the egg shape or the side to side wobble out by adjusting the spoke tension, just like you do with bike wheels
dude those are spoked wheels. they’re in the process of being trued

Johnny_McNeil they're trying them and getting them in "shape" for the first 50 seconds of this video

The wheels are art, but their websites are all pretty terrible. half the pages don't even go anywhere
