Orthodox Christianity is a true way. I am not a preacher and i know somebody will not have same opinion like me. I respect all religions and know much about them as a a Serb who fight for many ideologies and religions I still think I am on right way for justice and love.

Orthodoxy isn't a religion😊 It's a living relationship with the eternal God, unlike any other god.. You know religion tells you do this do that or you won't be that Christ tells you "I know you were not able to do these things, so trust in Me, the One who loved you more than His own life" Think about that❤️

Their characters never met in the series, but they met in real life and fell in love and got married with 3 wonderful kids.

I appreciate if somebody is searching for the truth or for a more real way of life with every cell of his being, with his whole heart and with his whole mind. Only reading books safely and comfortable without trying things out empirically - without leaving your comfort zone - is not a really remarkable activity. I can only recommend the book of a friend of mine: "born to hate reborn to love" - Klaus Kenneth. As Klaus sought to escape the hell of being unloved (terrible childhood)), he began to look for a way out of his misery, which took him on a journey through the manifold pleasures and promises of "this world": rock music, sex, drugs, the Occult, Transcendental Meditation, the religious traditions of North and South America, Africa and the Middle East (including Israel), India and the Orient. His quest literally took him around the world several times over. He tried it all. He was regarded as a guru in India, where he spent a number 7 years, and later believed that he would end his life as a Buddhist monk in Thailand. The list of his experiences, the places he visited, and the people he met is endless. And along the way, he was given profound spiritual experiences, which led him to the One that he had always discounted.
To find if it’s the truth - look at whom the wars 1st world war to Second World War - at whom did it prosecute? Orthodoxy... Why is he a fundamentalist? Most people think only science or only individualism is the true way - and they condemn and despise all other (mostly religious) people who think otherwise. Aren't they fundemantalists? For me fundamentalism starts when you despise other people who live and think otherwise. But in the eastern christian church humility is the highest(!) virtue. Even if you think that you have found the true way, you should never condemn or judge other people - even more: you should never feel superior to somebody - morally and intellectually. You should love everybody - equally.

What he has found is the only true way etc. I think he was raised fundy and that inculcation as a child is hardwired in. Maybe the evangelical fundamentalism to seem nit authentic so he found something that worked better for him. That is fine but he is still soooo fundy since he thinks this new wzy is the only authentic way and it is all about his feelings and god guiding him and on and on. Maybe if he and his family lived amongst the poor and gave all he had to them he could talk about authenticity.

There are people that are unsatisfied with the other denominations of christianity(evangelists, baptists, catholics, protestants etc) or the one that they addhere at a certain point in time, this unsatisfaction leads them to dig deeper to find a Church that speaks to their hearts, for the couple in the video it was The Holy Orthodox Church. After the great schism in 1054 the church divided; Catholics adopted the pope, Purgatory, different mass(we call it divine liturgy) and so on, while the Orthodox Church remained unchanged, unhinged, that's why Jonathan talks about authenticity, the Orthodox way is the way of the early fathers of all Christianity. From the Catholic Church, thousands of christian denominations and churches arose, but not from Orthodoxy. From my point of view, the Orthodox way is the only way. Bear in mind that he was a christian beforehand, just not a fully satisfied one. If you are not content with your current denomination of christianity(if you are a christian, that is), then dig deeper, I'm pretty sure God will not let you search in vain. But if you are ok with where you're at, I don't know if you should bother. God is pure LOVE! Peace!

Why there are people who find God from so many denominations of Chrsitianity? We do not know. But I think there is a big difference from having some sort of revelation and finding God (example: a non believer, an atheist, satanist etc who finds God and then they follow a Christian denomination they see fit) and someone who is a Christian already, but unsatisfied and tries to find His true church; then they choose the one that trully speaks to their hearts. God works in mysterious ways.
