As a fellow R/P Law … I mean so to be, Former Fellow R/P Law Player, I started preparing for the worst a couple weeks ago now. I personally plan on pivoting to a nice rotation… •Blu Doffy(cause it’s fun, has decent match spread, plus the support down the road👍) •Purple and R/P Luffy(support down the road and this way all my hard work attaining the cards to build Law can be put to use)
Rp law was broken next set, not this one. So that was definitely early. But stage yeah is super broken haha. Free -2 every turn for no additional cost is wild
Those are arguably your worst matches. Not much more to say then you have to blocker up and play 8 costs in BY Luffy, and Nami you just have to Perona and issho and swing appropriately. Both matchups suck haha
Yes and no - Lucci matchup becomes easier but you lose Law which is favoured. Reiju can stomp you if they roll well, and there will be a sea of Nami and BY Luffy. So overall I'd say its bad for us Moria mains
Yes and no. I think overall the Lucci matchup just got better. But by Luffy is potentially best deck now. But I built gecko to beat that matchup so I'm not worried about it
@@jordankennedy1447 I'll keep it short, Nami you have to pray they don't high roll and you have to see Perona and issho. Swing 5ks early then pressure mid game with 7ks and 9ks
For all those people complaining about Nami, its not a problem. It's not hard to beat Nami. I haven't lost to Nami since OP06 when i played fortress Yamato.
@@natebeal18 I don't think you've played against a good Nami then or been high rolled by the deck haha. It's not about playing into the deck correctly, it's just a luck of the draw deck that you have to hope against lol
@@TheLuffyTCG oh I'm fully on board the Nami hate train. But I haven't been high rolled yet. Gecko makes it easier because you can just start dropping bodies and then swing for 9,9, 7, 5,5. But you still pray to God they don't trigger.
Not sure why all the black players are happy? lol all this really does is get rid of one of your more favorable match ups and increase your non favorable match ups. BY luffy, Nami, Reiju, and Enel feasting off this ban list.
So Lucci was a weird match with the stage being present. This makes that matchup much better for Gecko now. And all of the other matchups I feel pretty comfy with in my current Gecko List. Nami definitely is gonna be a problem though lol. b
