The devs need to realise that we can’t dedicate our lives to grinding for some stupid creature.
Most players have school or work, and don’t have the time to grind for every single new creature.
It is disgusting that the devs keep doing this, I can’t express my anger enough
what makes this worse is that the developers will never stop pumping out new creatures until when they won't be able to work on the game anymore. every new creature will cost more and more time and money, only for it to be overhyped garbage.

I grind gor half a hour at egilion warden statue for the price that almost 200,000 is not that bad but the problem is that is low % chace that you will aculy get the arofact

yeah it’s supposed to be fun. but I feel like they’re just going the profit route at this point. the robux creatures and winter boosts, curreny flow, ridiculously high value for pixels and somehow everyone is drooling for it. the discord server staff is rude, you have no access to basic channels like trading, you are forced to text in the server to level up to gain access. there’s an insane overhype and a lot of toxicity in game and in server I’m ashamed how much money I used to spend on this game to get every possible creature cause they tore me right with the hype.
to get back on track, it’s frustrating and definitely not worth your brain cells and blood pressure lol

I like the idea of grinding for creatures, i DONT like the idea that every new creature makes you grind more than the last, i think we need more small creatures more normal gacha ones and small stuff, other thing the math that artifacts uses is stupid, i have 89 small air artifacts and 4 big ones, not just still in 19k price the bird but also is useless all the small artifacts 2% discount to the reduced price, maybe if the 40% was to actual price and 2% in original could be more fair

At this point, the devs should just outright say that they want our money. If you wanna make creatures that are a bit harder to get, thats fine and good! But for the love of god at LEAST make the system actually enjoyable to play with and not absurdly difficult. "Economy" shouldnt come before the overall enjoyment your players get from playing the game. LISTEN to the players, because they have the game's best interests at heart.
Tbh its been going on since like 2020, before even COS was announced. They really do just want your money, and if you speak out against it or suggest a more player-friendly, non P2W way theyll kick it out or even ban you. (Which is what happened in the discord with the 2020 easter event in DA, it was horrendous.)

But unfortunately, the games best interest probably won't make as much dollar signs, so it'll never happen.
Some tips for the grind:
1. Be a euvias
2. Place burrow at your desired shrine
3. Place burrow at full meat spawner
4. Shove all that meat into your burrow
5. Give it all to the shrine
(If you have a private server, leaving and rejoining refills all the spawners)

the private servers cost 500 which sucks
Also, id reccomend flying to almost every meat spawner nearby and putting a burrow there also, as just one meat spawner runs out quicker than youd expect.
This really helped, despite it taking 9 hours for me, i still got it!
update/add-on to it:
1. Euvias or Kaluaka are good/better for easy travel from carcass to shrine
2. For Jewels, I recommend farming at Eigion first, then Novus / For stones go to Hellion and Garra
3. Place burrows at Carcasses with 300-375, these ones offer the best meat yields early on. RECOMMEND ALSO HAVING 3 CARCASS BURROWS, AS ONE RUNS OUT QUICK.
4. Private server works best, because even carcass spawners that usually have 115 have 300.
If they want you to grind for them, fine.
But at least make the grinding more enjoyable.
I wish the artifacts did a continuous discount based on the original price of the creature and not the current price based on preexisting artifacts you’ve collected.

Yes, because without that the 2% discount is literally worthless, i now have 89 small air artifacts, but just 4 of Big air ones, My Bird still cost 19k and was 29k before my 4 Big artifact

The price decrease recently and probably will continue to decrease. I got mine relatively fast just out of sheer determination. I also sold it for 20k and a boreal. I do plan on getting a second a trex for myself again.

Hygos is just a better version of it it has faster bite it has more stam and it does more dmg
On paper it’s a pretty good idea. But in classic COS fashion, they have to ruin it. Megalo and Queze where fine, sure grindy, but atleast it isn’t the worst. Magnacetus and now Ghartokus are just painful and grindy. It took me 10+ hrs and alot of dedication to get magnacetus. I can’t imagine the pain and suffering it would take to get this new one.

I stopped grinding at events because I have enough creatures.
I stopped several years ago. They got too greedy and expect way too much form the players. We don't have 24/7 to sit and grind. People have jobs, schools, and other duties. Its ridiculous.
If you think COS is grindy PFFFT you’ve never sold your soul to a snail AKA Gaijin AKA War Thunder. I have near 1000 hours in that game in I’m barely half way through the American ground and air tech trees

I literally just quit the game because they wouldn’t stop adding so much bullshit. Turned from a neat worldbuilding project to utter trash, every other week they release some cinematic bombastic new god creature that’s more powerful than the rest, and they are nowhere near inviting to new players. The only way to 100% the game is to go through the trouble of becoming a hella popular TH-camr and even then you’re probably gonna spend the next 2 months away from sunlight because they released another thing. Almost like magic, after I quit COS my grades went up, I started making more friends, my sleep schedule came back, and I had more fun now that it wasn’t the only thing I played.

I'm genuinely surprised you made your friend throw 5+ creatures at Ghar without even considering that its stats outright beat every single one except Hygos easily. Hygos only comes close thanks to photovore buff and slightly higher base dmg.

Cause theres still heavier creatures like Empi, Magna, Eigion, Pace, Jabble, Gram, Gnol, Lmako, Lorolael, Venu, Boreal, Kavo, and Kora.

Tha why I’ve stopped playing, to many creatures in an environment, doesn’t even feel like a alien world with this much variety. Not to mention most of the creatures barely even fit in with what the world feels like

Creatures of Sonaria is too grindy and a waste of time or should I say life! Now I know why my friends quit CoS so fast and the even gave me reasons.
1- Every 2 minutes you get 5 shooms (It should me like 10 per minute)
2- The prices went going uphill very fast
3- They added creatures like EVERY week
4- Like some creatures take 2 hours to grow (Korathos)
This is something that the developers should realize and should know: We can’t spent or dedicate or life, families, school, work whatever you do to grind some stupid creature. Devs I know you like adding new creatures to the game and that is a good thing and the designs are incredible but the thing we can’t grind for every single creature that is added into the game so they should think a way so the game can’t be to grindy/time wasting

I've had to stop playing because I just couldn't anymore, the devs and their prices physically made me have to stop playing because I couldn't progress at all. This game was fun but honestly screw it completely now. It's just a glorified money grab at this point.

The t-rex is very Grindy since you have to wait every 30 min to restart doing the shrine. Eigion is the best since its only 1k food and IT give a 30% Discount for it

Hellion, Garra and angelic are literally only 150-250 food
they give less of a discount though

I hate it how everyone is so stupidly obsessed with raising prices,and I know I just can’t with how the admins think we live in the game and I was a early game player but I quit because if you miss a single event/year in the game you can’t catch up with other people who can buy robux and buy money,and to the people who ftp (including me) we can’t event dream to be close to them unless you play for 19 years straight.AND people just don’t understand that even a “simple “ 1mil to them is a year to people with a life if they don’t sell creatures.
I stopped playing for a while now but a year ago when I was playing I accidentally killed one of my friend's creatures and he, who was obsessed, made me pay him back in real money and it honestly disgusts me how this game continues and it influences people that way

Tbh this is one of the easier artefact creatures just burrow at eigion and novus shrines (avoid ardor takes double the time of both) and maybe get an alt to farm carcasses
CoS is the only game that I can say I've stopped playing because of TOO MUCH content. The concept of adding a new thing every friday sounds good, but only on paper.
People are constantly busy with other things in their life, NO ONE has so much time as to get every single thing they release, especially considering the batshit crazy grind for half of them.
the aggressive amount of content are actually deterring players, because they cannot catch up to the constantly overflowing mass of bland product after bland product. Moreover, players that work their asses off for the "strongest thing in the game" will be disappointed when their "strongest thing in the game" gets outclassed by some other weird thing merely a few updates later.
The major flaw in CoS is that they view quantity as the answer to maintaining a player base, when in reality it is the QUALITY of content that they need right now. If CoS were to stop aggressively churning out bland content updates every week, and spent more time developing and refining their updates to be more purposeful, and more spread out (so that players could actually have a chance to get, and savor, the content the update provides), they might actually have a chance of growing their fanbase instead of having it shrink more and more as people become deterred by the incalculable amount of creatures they have in their game.
Content updates feel more purposeful if they are not released every week. Granted not releasing enough content will cause the game to grow stale and fade, but that's really only in the most extreme example of spacing updates. Having your content updates be fewer than the weekly rate it is now, as well as making the content updates more than just one more random creature to add to the ever growing pile of half baked ideas, will have players savoring the updates more and importantly, getting a chance to obtain the new things found in said content updates.
So for those who didn't feel like reading all that the TLDR is:
CoS needs to stop focusing on quantity of content, and turn more towards the quality of updates.
This is why I quit the game, the prices just keep going up higher and I’ve been playing the game since beta and now I don’t even want to touch the game because I have a life and I don’t want to just spend my time on a stupid overpriced and overrated game when I could be spending time with my dog and family.
I start to play this game during summer event and left after two weeks. The grind is just ridiculous, its not worth to spend dozens of hours doing the same shit over and over to get "cool limited creature". Real money prices are insane too. And if i want to grind, i would play a game what is at least standalone and not silly Roblox project to farm money.

Yeah they forgot the original purpose. Beta had so much promise but they've completely disconnected and just care for profit entirely, making things incredibly grindy just to encourage people to pay money. Its awful. Low mushroom rate but also ridiculously high prices. Its not good.
The trex is really bad but it looks nice at least and isn't too hard to obtain, the artifact creatures are a bother though

Yeah. That's why they made everything easy to get if you pay an arm and a leg, obviously. And why they made NOTHING easy except getting outdated crappily modeled creatures from the dark ages through the gacha.
They don't make these things take days, weeks, or months at a time to be able to get while you grind all day every day because they want it to be hard. They do it because they want money. Don't fall for it. If every now and then a creature took 9 hours to get like this, then sure, that'd be fine. Problem is all the creatures where basically the only way to get them is to put OBSCENE amounts of mush into them that you can basically only get by paying, and creatures that take an OBSCENE amount of time... and the fact that these two types are so common. And not only are they common, they're the only desirable creatures. Nobody wants a creature whose model has only been updated once since the beta and nobody wants a creature who can't do crap to defend themselves and nobody wants a creature that doesn't look unique or interesting at all. Yet the only way to get those in this game, 90% of the time, is to ONLY play this game and nothing else, for potentially WEEKS, OR spend robux. That isn't hard, it's tedious, and unfun, and it's a con that you're falling for.
Unfortunately nothing will be done about the state of the game, it's far too profitable for the devs to actually care about balancing the prices. As evident by the circlejerk of a Discord, people will defend the greedy, grindy nature of the game to their dying breath, saying "The devs need to get paid somehow" and "Roblox is exploiting devs so they need to up their prices". Because it's fine when it's the smaller dev team milking money instead.
Don't even have 4,000 mush, or any artifacts of any kind. I literally quit this game for months at a time because the updates are so boring and grindy. I saw they were gonna add this and got excited to start playing again. Glad I watched this before doing so. So disappointed.
Also thats the thing. The game lies to you. It doesnt decrease the price that by 2%. Then you would only need 50 of the artifacts. BUT HERE I AM, WITH 100 AIR ARTIFACTS, AND IT STILL COSTS 4K. Its nonsensical, they should be paying me 400k to get megalodystrix at this point.

Fun fact Hugo’s are easy to take as a ken if they follow their tail. Also fighting isn’t the most important or worthwhile thing. Most times people just fight to fight not survive

Hi, i was a beta player. The whole reason 8 stopped playing COS was because of this reason. The game is just not as good as it was, way too much grinding and not enough having fun. Models are creative and great, but the devs really got too much into money and not just the enjoyable experience. I dont know if it is true that the employees are not treated fairly, but one and all, i stopped playing this game for so many reasons, and this one here was just one listed.
Another part is that they just keep getting stronger, i wish the creatures would stay in a range of damage, you cant even play as the OGS without getting about one shotted on spot. People constantly target you and the whole experience now is just running around and getting money to save for the next creatures coming up, it’s honestly ridiculous.
This game could have gone so far, unfortunately it didnt, and i find a very wild resemblance to that of royal high’s problem.
Not to mention the whole new mechanic with the game, its just not the same as it ever was.
They release that for 900k but then release the strongest creature in the game for somerhing as little as 12k candy canes they needa balance this out it's unfair and ridiculous
900k is discounted over time.
Also boreal isn't the strongest in the game it dies to a lot of other T5s and smaller tiers

I finally just got one a few days ago. It took way longer because im only on for like 2 hrs a day, if i even play at all.
Old CoS player here, quitted about a year ago and just reading that title was enough to make me feel mad at the devs. Started playing at the end of 2020, and back then I got my first Ker for only 9k. Terrifying to see the state of the game right now, and how grindy's it's become

I quite playing CoS after it became more about having players put WEEKS of their life into this game for a damn Warden. I do want to ask if the shroom gaining system has changed from just playing the game and getting 5 or 10 shrooms (I forgor) every like FIFTEEN MINUTES.
If you can’t get the spec get the stored it’s just as good but if it dies you gonna have to trade for a revive token
Or just click restart and spend mush to regrow instead
Though some want the species so they can either sell it or mutation hunt on it. Or they want to nest people

The fact that the even a cc (someone who can just sell aeires and get free mush) still needed to grind that much is insane, I think some new creatures being added exclusively to the bleeder and toxin gatchas would honesty be better, nobody wants or has time to grind hours for this leaf-covered op kendyll.
