Sean S he walks a bit too. Good plate discipline, but the way to get him is beating him in the zone which is why his strikeout count is not fantastic. Guess he just has a lot of plate appearences
The home run totals are based off of while playing a game at that position. So players that have played multiple positions like Trout(LF and CF), Miguel Cabrera, Biggio, or Ryan Zimmerman only get the home run total while playing that position. This makes them less likely to appear.
They’re going by homers the player had at each position, so the seasons trout played corner outfield spots wouldn’t count towards his center field totals.
trout isn’t on the list because he plays ALL of the outfield positions and his homers are spread among them.. makes sense why they aren’t all concentrated at one position
Hey guys, since you all are baseball fans I wanted to ask you guys something. I plan to make a series of baseball videos where I make each franchise’s All-Team team. However this will take a lot of work and my fanbase isn’t big enough for this to be worth it. But from a baseball fan to baseball fan, could you subscribe and let me know your into the idea, and if you are into it, then I can start this. Thanks for taking your time
Trout isn't on there because this list is ranking homers by specific position. Trout's 285 homers are spread out among games where he played different positions in the outfield.
Yeah but 1042 of his 1130 games have been in CF and he's hit 285 career homeruns. So 114 of those have to have been when he was in CF. That one has to be wrong.
I'm pretty sure it's home runs hit in games they play that position. Trout played corner outfield for years because the Angels thought Peter Bourjos was better defensively.
Trout doesnt lead the Angels yet in total homeruns. Salmon hit 299. Trout should pass him up this season though. Good job on the quiz, this isn't easy. 👍
You killed me eventhough i don't think yoh understood what the topic was lol. I think it was by position so maybe as a CF trout doesn't have as many hrs as edmonds?
The homerun total is throwing me off a little. Looks like they put the homerun total for that specific position. So like Trout he may have more homeruns than any other Angels player (besides Tim Salmon) but he divides them up all over the outfield during his first few years and now center and DH.
Pyro95 lol what, why would people like Lindor be on the list then? It was literally updated in September of 2019. There’s no excuse for why trout wouldn’t be on there
Hey Marc! Right now I’m making a video about D’Ming 100 TH-camrs. I subscribed a couple of months ago and I want to know where you got the name GiraffeNeck from?
Cleveland Indians... I take exception to any list that doesn't have Tris Speaker, the great center fielder... not to mention ss omar vizqeul, RF shoeless joe Jackson, 2nd baseman Nap Lajoie, 3rd baseman Joe sewell… oh and how about Larry Doby???? just my two cents lol
I know this means nothing but you should make a video on the record of spring training how marlins are the best team in Florida and nationals are trash also rangers and padres are the best team in Arizona or plain spring training surprises
Looking at statistics Jim Edmonds hit 393 HRs all together but only hit 146 with the Anaheim Angels while Mike Trout hit 285 so technically it should have been Mike Trout!😒
Funny how you've got very old franchises yet you're guessing only recent players, not all-time greats like Warren Spahn. Then again you have the time pressure … that's always tougher than people think.
He coulda gotten the right answer for the Rockies shortstop, but his knowledge was TULO
I get it
lol nice joke
No cap
That was good 😂
If Mike Trout isn't on a top list for anything regarding baseball, it's genuinely shocking at this point
What if it’s strike outs?? Or error count
@@oskarboggiss2448 Maybe not those stats, you know what I'm talking about lol
Oskar Boggiss I mean he does strike out a lot 😂 (I’m not hating on him I’m an Angels fan)
@@seans4318 So did Babe Ruth
Sean S he walks a bit too. Good plate discipline, but the way to get him is beating him in the zone which is why his strikeout count is not fantastic. Guess he just has a lot of plate appearences
Paused the video to take the quiz before you did. So glad to learn I wasn't the only one who was confused as hell when Mike Trout wasn't there.
Well since were complaining about this stuff, Ryan Zimmerman leads the franchise in home runs. He wins at both 3rd and 1st
go nats, go caps!
Aviator43 yeah I caught into this real quick. Read a head a little and saw that the Houston 2B had 226 home runs but I know Biggio had nearly 300.
The home run totals are based off of while playing a game at that position. So players that have played multiple positions like Trout(LF and CF), Miguel Cabrera, Biggio, or Ryan Zimmerman only get the home run total while playing that position. This makes them less likely to appear.
@@jonathanberra6102 True, but he's right about it being wrong about Trout. Only 25 HRs when not playing CF.
Marc: Bregman can't be at 100 already that's impossible
Bregman: At 99😂
Marc tryinh to spell Yaz's name is as recurring as saying Verlander ages like a fine wine
Whole time Marc was on the Rockies 2nd base i was like,
LEMAHIEU!!!!
This quiz was ass there’s literally no way Giambi hit 77 for the Yankees and Tex didn’t hit more than that
What?
Molorange never mind I read it wrong
Didn’t Tex play more first base than DH? I’m not too sure I never really watch(ed) the Yankees
You are right he played more 1st
His home runs are split over other postions
69%
*N I C E*
Nice
Nice
Nice
haha its funny because its the seks number xDDDDDD
Nice
Trout probably hit his HRs across all outfield positions
Brian Steuerman I highly doubt that, he rarely doesn’t play center
Brian Steuerman as a CF trout has 260 career home runs, this list was just completely wrong
@@smac9273 trout has played 124 in Lf 66 at DH and 17 in right thats where the other homers come from i think
Jesse rams 84 no but literally his stats per position are 17 homers while playing left, 6 homers while playing DH, and 260 homers while playing CF
superredpanda12 he has played rf lf and dh so its possible
Troy tuliwitzki Rockies short stop
Tulo
They’re going by homers the player had at each position, so the seasons trout played corner outfield spots wouldn’t count towards his center field totals.
Trout has played all outfield positions. This list is counting only the ones hit as a certain position.
Trout has 260 HR as the CF of the Angels. 17 LF, 2 RF, 6 DH. The quiz is wrong.
Im not mad at the video. I thought this was very creative fun but also informative. Lots of potential 👍
Thanks for the inspiration for me to make baseball videos. Your spring training hats video inspired me to make one of myself. Keep up the good videos!
"It is Ray Durham! Such useless information!" Haha, got a great laugh out of that one
Didn't know 4 people could all be 1st
No one:
Not a single soul:
Marc: 69%
Me: nice
69 lol
I just love your lighting 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
It's by position so Trout is split between the outfield positions. It's all about where they were playing when the hit them.
Babe Ruth hit 226 Home runs with the Yankees, ya I don't think so
LeMahieu and Holiday
Do the most forgotten free agent signing for each team
trout isn’t on the list because he plays ALL of the outfield positions and his homers are spread among them.. makes sense why they aren’t all concentrated at one position
Hes at 260 for just CF
@@jakefromstatefarm6969 no he isn't
He also played DH
Its a list per position you play. So if you play lf and hit a homerun it will count toward lf even if your mainly a rf
Marc I was screaming at my screen when you couldn’t get Zambrano for pitcher homers
"who hit 35 home runs as a pitcher for the braves? that's honestly unbelievable"
oh how that statement has aged....
Marc: slam dunks the clickbait thumbnail
me: nice.

I saw the thumbnail. I liked it. I clicked it
Trout has played all over the outfield, and this quiz is a stickler for positions
Yeah but 1042 of his 1130 games have been in CF and he's hit 285 career homeruns. So 114 of those have to have been when he was in CF. That one has to be wrong.
when you were doing the brewers i was screamin Don Money !!!!
I think these quizzes would be better if you were live
i think the reason a lot of the numbers are messed up is because he’s only counting them if they played that position when they hit them
Giraffe, u do a hell of a job! Love your channel! Wish u were YANKEEES fan! U r way better than rapper simonetti source!
You should do you picking the mlb 1,000,000 $ vault

you are the goat marc
Trout has hit 285 HR so far
Played left in beginning of career
Jesse rams 84 only hit 17 homers in LF
Quiz was made 7 years ago
Pyro95 lol what, why would people like Lindor be on the list then? It was literally updated in September of 2019. There’s no excuse for why trout wouldn’t be on there
@@smac9273 Its a quiz made by some guy on the internet. It's not that fucking serious lmao
Honestly I’m a huge Braves fan and I gotta admit that was hard
Trout: 6 HR as DH, 17 as LF, 2 as RF......all others as CF....they definitely mess that one up.
How didn't he get Tony Gwynn
Tony gwynn was an easy one.
You have Micah owings as a legendary hitting pitcher but couldn’t guess Carlos Zambrano? Damn
Can u react to your free agent signing predictions already
Where are you in Arizona because I’m here to for spring training
Hey Marc! Right now I’m making a video about D’Ming 100 TH-camrs. I subscribed a couple of months ago and I want to know where you got the name GiraffeNeck from?
I ended up getting right around average......that was a tough one.
Why was the thumbnail 69% 😂😂😂 I'm dying
As a Padres fan, I'm violently offended you missed TONY GWYNN.
They've updated this list with 2021 also with the Nationals think of the Montreal Expos
Mike Trout has played a number of outfield positions for the Angels and has played DH. He didn't have that many home runs at one outfield position.
He has 260 at CF. It was a mistake by the quiz maker.
This is a false test. Trout has 285 career homeruns
But he has them playing LF, CF, RF, & DH. So they would be split up over all four positions.
Trout played left field for like a couple of years that's why
Maybe the home run totals are the amount that they got when they played at that position. Not their total homerun totals.
I did the updated version through the link and got 51%
I have no clue about current players, but I knew most of the 60's to 90's guys. Was Norm Cash the Tigers 1st baseman.
People always forget the power bat that was Warren Spahn
When you try your best but you don’t succeed. I guess you were never ready
Did trout maybe have some as a center fielder and some as a right fielder?
I got cringed out when in the cubs part you didn’t put Andre Dawson in the outfield.
All time starting nine but the quiz is about home runs
not even 6 months later mike trout is about to break 300 homers
I know this means nothing but you should make a video on the record of spring training how marlins are the best team in Florida and nationals are trash also rangers and padres are the best team in Arizona or plain spring training surprises
How does he not get tulo and lemaihugh irk how to spell it for Rockies
50%...woulda been higher if i could spell
big meat pete already gonna take the mets spot in year 2
I got 62% but somehow I didn't get Derek Jeter.
Where is pugols
Chipper definitely better then Mathews and I’m a Braves fan
No one :
Mark : If you enjoy this video make sure to go down and drop a like thats the best way to show your support
I feel proud that I got all my A’s
I’m not first but I’m here that’s what counts👍
Looking at statistics Jim Edmonds hit 393 HRs all together but only hit 146 with the Anaheim Angels while Mike Trout hit 285 so technically it should have been Mike Trout!😒
He played Lf in beginning of his career
I got 78% on the quiz
How the hell did you not get Tulo and DJ
Correct if I didn't see it clearly.
Ruth hit 226 for the Yankees.
Where did he hit the other 488?
Red Sox
for harper not being on there they used expos players
HOW DID YOU NOT GET KELLY GRUBER OR JOSE BAUTISTA
Duda hit 125 for the Mets so idk how he’s not there
Didn’t trout play left field early in his career? Maybe that’s why he’s not on there
How is Wade Boggs not 3rd base for the Sox?!
You need to do the vault challenge on mlb.com for a video
Hey I was in az the other day too
Not all of Trout HRs have been in CF
I can't do this good
1,128th!
The bad news the legend Hank Aaron has died a couple day ago R.I.P to the legend
35 homeruns as a braves picther: bob Limon
Where’s your postseason predictions?
