To anyone who got compiler error, if you installed Unity 2017 through the hub and used another version (like 2021) make sure you create the project with the correct editor, the first time I did it with 2020 by mistakes and had a lot of compiler error, but then I did it again and had no error with the correct version.
I played human fall flat the first time yesterday, i dont think im ready for this, but i want to try :)

Hello, I play human fall flat with my 3 friends and I really can't find any levels in steam workshop apart from chinese ones that i don't even understand if they are levels or just trolls. Where can I find actual levels like the default ones to have fun with my friends?

@@jootio895 had the same problem. Steam must be closed. (i couldnt found the package too as long as Steam was open in the background)
@@technologysheep9229 i have a mac i installed the unity version he said checked off windows build support in components n i get up to the import package part and human fall flat workshop package is no where to be found ?? i cant find it anywhere....steam is closed too. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP appreciate anything thank u!!

Ok so I am trying to develop my own levels on human fall flat.....i downloaded and installed the game through steam. Then I downloaded and installed unity on my mac and followed the tutoirial you guys put out for this. But when i go to import assests the workshop package folder isn't there at all (i have a Mac FYI) PLEASE SOMEONE HELP i cant find anywhere to download the package seperately and don't know why it isnt appearing i assume it has something to do with me having a mac but im not sure. If someone could PLEASE HELP i would greatly appreciate it THANK YOU!!

Anyone good with Unity who can help me with compiler errors?
I followed the directions of this video to make a level, but when I tried to enter playmode to take a screenshot it said I have to fix all compiler errors. However, even when only one object (or none) is in the level these errors occur. I'm kindoff disappointed because it took me hours to make the level but I can't even export it to Human Fall Flat, additonally Unity Support did not reply to my email asking them for help.
Please, if anyone can help me, let me know.

Curve Digital I play human fall flat almost everyday and I play on console so I can’t do much stuff but you should make something for console where if you put in a name of something it creates a skin of the thing you put in the search bar that would be very cool but it’s probably going to be hard so you don’t have to buy if you do that would be amazing

This will never come to console but they could make it like Lbp so I don’t get why we can’t have the workshop
I have a youtube video idea, for that I just need a really big "mirror" in the game, is there any map created already that has it, small mirror will also do, just want a mirror, as simple as that :) let me know and if not present can I create a mirror using unity?

Can somebody explain why they are using a out of date version of unity? Here it shows that they are using 2017.4.13f1 and they posted this 6 days ago, meanwhile when i was trying to make a level I got 2017.4.40f1 a month ago?
because thats what it was coded with and so its best to use that version
Because no one is competent enough to realize that LTS releases are guaranteed to be functionally the same, so yea u should definitely update or just get the LTS version straight ahead, it will work perfectly for HFF, i made levels successfully with it.

Question, if i want to play user created (subscribed) levels online with my buddies, does only the host need to be subscribed to that level or need all players to be subscribed to that level that they want to play online together? Thanks in advance
Only th Host has to subscribe. The others download the map when host starts the game

How do I download in MacOS? It just tells me when its downloaded it isnt supported??
I might be able to help, I'm fairly experienced with game engines. If you search for "Unity Hub", Unity's website can direct you to the proper downloads for MacOS. Unity Hub acts as a launcher and manager for all versions of Unity and their projects on your computer. Under "Installs" in the hub application you can go to their download archive and select the correct version of the engine to download. The version you want will just say "Unity 2017.4.13" and won't have to "f1" on the end but don't worry about that. It'll say that once you download it. Hope this helps!

Awh shucks. I love this game but I absolutely despise Unity, shame this game doesnt have a dedicated level creator.
I think Unity works on Linux, but I just really dont like Unity's UI and I prefer Godot instead.
