But Pixar Rende man uses XPU method which uses both CPU and GPU for rendering most effectively as far as I know Renderman is available for blender

There are many GPU renderers available like redshift, octane , even cycles have GPU rendering which can make use of cuda cores of nvidia cards.. Nowadays even some simulation solvers make use of GPU. For example axiom solver for houdini is fully gpu accelerated solver, Embergen is there which is fully gpu based. So for anyone want to build pc for productivity, do your research before buying. Check what your software requirements are.
