In Law Wedding Wars - Wedding planner Gina Sole hosts this reality show in which engaged couples hand over control of their big day to the mother of either the bride or groom. Yes, total control of the wedding is turned over to one of the in-laws, which can be a scary thought. But the couple doesn't just choose which mother gets to plan the event -- that would be too easy. The soon-to-be mothers-in-law must battle it out to see who comes out on top to earn the honor of being able to plan her child's big day. Will everyone be able to put their tensions and feelings for one another aside to plan and execute a fairy-tale wedding?

How dare someone have someone else do a makeover!

This is so fun but Iam pretty sure it is staged and we are missing some key points. 1. The bride and groom "appear" to know nothing about this show and the general formula; mom's with opposing ideas and personalities, supposedly don't know that they have to leave the planning of the wedding to the moms, a wedding planner who at some point has tointervene and give somethign to the lsoing mom as a comproimise, a bride usually who is upset about the tension of the fighting moms with the winner being overly bossy and the losing mom extremely upset. After the conflict, after the intervention in the end they smile and make up. Conflict, resolution and drama . What we aren't told is WHY? What are these bride and grooms getting for letting a mom organize their wedding. MONEY? HOw much are they getting. Even with this formulatic process it is always fun to see the conflict. I mean if this was real life I think the cuple andw diding planner would be really beating the winner to be nice, to listen to the assistant (loser) to compromise etc. Instead somehow they get a bossy opinionanted know it all winner. Also formulatic is usually a country, simple approach versus a snobby flashy modern approach and it becomes apparent none of the mothers on this show are truly elegant or s ophisticated they are wanna bes - perhaps that makes sense because usually people with money and class and sophistication and knowledge of the beter thigns in life would not be applying to get on this show for undoubtedly some kind of financial gain. But it is so fun.
The beauty treatment was nice. The making was so so light and under played it was like the best Christine. THe best thing it hid her poor skin condition - I am guessing she is a smoker.
This show is so scripted. Every episode Gina has to be called in because the moms are squabbling... smh
I agree. Everybody’s mom has issues but normal people are usually on their best behavior when there’s a camera crew following them! 😂
