Curious what fell flat for you regarding the Battle of the Bands era of TMNT. I consider it a high point in characterization, thematic structure, and art. For the first time in 100 issues, we got to take a breather and get inside the characters' heads, and see them follow their passions, form new relationships, and find what makes them happy, instead of just being a mindless fight comic. I also really liked the themes of solving problems thru community building, and not just trading punches.

The main thing I didn't like was that Bebop and Rocksteady's band didn't even try to compete. I love Sophie's art though!
