Got a 16889 on sale for $40 a few years back on Amazon and saw how indestructible it was and within a month got a 16889A pro for $60 on Amazon. Still have both of them and still have never broken anything except the body shell. Incredibly fun RCs.

Nice review guys,looks a good fun truck especially the non wrenching side of things for a beginner.For the scale of it the driveshafts looked quite good and to last a skatepark bash in a big bowl like that they must be doing something right.Anyway Jimmy should of asked for the outcast 8s 😂

Cool vid Bro. Yes, definitely a good RC to start with in the hobby. My Son loves driving the Rlaarlo buggy I just reviewed a while back the radio has throttle/speed control perfect for beginners.
She is a hoot for sure, cheap fun and great practice at the skate parks for the bigger rigs!

So what would you suggest as a step up in size and price whilst still keeping a reasonable budget but also being indestructible?
@@IBOO57 there is nothing bigger that's indescribable, nothing is indescribable but these rigs are close.... Because of their weight. Any 10th scale brushless will have damages, more with 1/8th,and even more with 1/5th fur the most part.
But for 1/10th there are three standouts that I recommend, Arrma Granite, Corally Skeeter, Rival mt 10, honorable mention to the Maxx, might be tougher than these three, I love mine BUT it's way more expensive than these three, and handles worse than ALL these buts still super fun! For price get the Granite and the new M2C basher bar👍, little more th Skeeter destroys all for Value💪

I love the car! I would like to buy 1 or a redcat volcan 16, I am very interested in knowing how many game cycles the stock Esc 2-1 will last without burning out... does it still have the same original electronics working in 2024? greetings friend! The car is economical but its price makes me doubt a little about the duration of the stock esc and servo.... :) I have hardly seen videos that talk about this car after 1 year of use, usually everyone focuses on talking about the car fresh out of the box
I have already killed the ESC, and I have only ran the truck under 10 times. hope that helps... But to be fair 10x better esc can be purchased for like $30 and you will still have a great cheap rig!
I might have had bad luck
Has anybody else had a issue with this thing where it will only steer, but no power, if i reset it sometimes It'll do the job. Then i have another issue with it where it will go into forward or reverse heavily without me touching it. Can somebody help me or point me where to get help
Yeah same, I think the esc is poop and you get a new one should be good.
