Is it just me or does this woman not receive the praise she deserves? Such an underrated artist... I've just spent the last day binging on everything Delta, and I never realised before exactly how talented and inspirational she is. As beautiful as her studio versions are, her live performances are absolutely breathtaking.
She isn't underrated, just no one outside of Australia has ever heard of her. Now that she's on tour dates with the Backstreet Boys in the US hopefully she'll get some well deserved recognition.

i was born and raised in Australia. left when i was 12 yrs old and never have gone back. i consider Australia my mother country. all i can say about this song, is that the initial version some 35+ yrs ago didnt have any special effect on me , other than me considering it a strange and catchy indie pop song, but this rendition runs chiils down my spine. the way she sings reveals all the glory and magic of this country and the nature of its people. as for Delta ... what can one say! she's one of the worlds most beautiful people in EVERY way! she's a role model for how to live life to the fullest, being sincere, looking danger head on and winning, smiling and surviving. i dont care if she's not SPOTIFY's #1 artist, ... they who know her ... love her ... and consider her much much more than #1
