You could take advantage of the Grandchildren Law, if your grandmother or grandfather was spanish , you can apply for nationality right away, with a little bit of paperwork.
It is said that life is everything that is outside your comfort zone. I hope you all have a good life here, among us. By the way, you have my like, just for having featured the most elegant and charismatic man of his time in Hollywood (only for two seconds in the video), Mr. Sidney Poitier. All the best.
Good video. Would love to hear about the specifics involved in moving to Spain, the paperwork required, any associated fees, need for a lawyer to assist, etc.... We're thinking of retiring to Spain.
All great questions. But to be honest, when we moved, we simply sold everything and packed up the rest of our essentials in a storage unit. The shipping costa were personally too high For us. You really won’t need a lawyer until you look into gaining residency or citizenship.

Hey thanks so much for watching! 🙏🏿❤️Both malaga and Valencia are both beautiful cities. However, we are not super familiar with the specific school systems in that area. With international schools, they will be integrated with Spanish, but also get the benefit of dual education.

Hey Rachel! When recommending the best places to live in Spain as a digital nomad with a one-year-old, it's essential to consider various factors such as safety, amenities, family-friendly environment, and access to facilities. Here are a few recommendations: 1. Barcelona: Known for its vibrant culture and tech scene, Barcelona offers a mix of urban amenities and beautiful beaches. It has a range of coworking spaces, parks, and family-friendly neighborhoods like Gracia and Sarria-Sant Gervasi. 2. Valencia: This coastal city combines modernity with a laid-back lifestyle. It has a thriving digital nomad community, affordable cost of living, and family-friendly areas like Ruzafa and El Cabanyal. Valencia also boasts a fantastic park called Turia Gardens, perfect for children. 3. Malaga: Located on the Costa del Sol, Malaga offers a warm climate, stunning beaches, and a relaxed atmosphere. It has a growing startup scene, coworking spaces, and neighborhoods like Pedregalejo and El Palo, known for their family-friendly vibe. 4. Granada: With its rich history and picturesque landscapes, Granada attracts digital nomads seeking a mix of culture and tranquility. The Albaicin neighborhood is popular among families, and the city has several parks and playgrounds for children. 5. Palma de Mallorca: If you prefer island life, Palma de Mallorca is a great option. It offers a blend of city living and natural beauty, with gorgeous beaches and outdoor activities. Palma has coworking spaces, family-friendly neighborhoods like Santa Catalina, and a welcoming community. Remember, these are just a few suggestions, and the best place for your family ultimately depends on your preferences and priorities. It's advisable to visit and explore different cities before making a decision.

Yes, I would like to ask about the type of work an American with advanced, college degrees could be expected to get in Spain. Also, at what level is the racism, not curiosity, in Spain? 5:40 That's called "Mañana".
Hahaha yes! Mañana for sure 😆 From my husband: “I haven’t experienced racism here, solely curiosity” And I haven’t experienced it either. There were places in the states where we’ve felt that hatred type of feeling coming off of people but not at all here in Spain
@@ashleemarie1760 Thank you so much. A long time ago, I had a 6-week sojourn in the south of Spain, and I also didn't experience any racism. However, lately, I've been reading how Spain has become racist. I'm glad to know that it's not true.

Está prohibido dejar la caca de perro, multan. Si te has encontrado alguna has tenido mala suerte. Si vas a cenar y tienes prisa mejor no vayas, es un acto de relax mientras disfrutas la comida.
😆 la verdad. Muchas gracias por mirar 🙏🏿❤️
Remember that US and Spain are old brothers. We became one once with a lot of the NA territory and helped the US to get its independence. Welcome to Spain!!
Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment!🙏🏿❤️ Yes, as Floridians, we learned about Spain’s old territory in St.Augustine, FL. 😉
Hey we are a family of 5 looking into Spain or Mexico. Im curious about how many black and brown folks you all see. it doesn't seem like a lot
Hey Fam thanks so much for watching!🙏🏿❤️ it is true. There is not a large black population here in Spain. But we seem to be slowly expanding here in Europe. Mexico is also a great option as you mentioned.
@AG3Family yea I'm definitely over the feeling of being the only one. Seems like their are more in mexico. How's the schools there for ur kids. I have a 12, 9 and 3 year old. Curiousl to hear ur thoughts
We can definitely understand your point. We always tell viewers that (based upon our experience) the overall school system here in Spain is good. You have multiple options with private schools, charter schools, and even International schools, which is the best option.

Our children are at an international school, but we have friends who
Children are in public school here in Spain and they have no complaints.

Yes, I would like to ask about the type of work an American with advanced, college degrees could be expected to get in Spain.
Also, at what level is the racism, not curiosity, in Spain?
5:40 That's called "Mañana".
Hahaha yes! Mañana for sure 😆
From my husband: “I haven’t experienced racism here, solely curiosity”
And I haven’t experienced it either.
We’re definitely doing an episode about the subject “racism”

@@AG3Family Sounds good. I'll wait for it.
Work is unfortunately scarce here in Spain except for English teaching positions. Many people work here remotely/online.
Is it difficult to get a work visa?
It’s not difficult to get a working visa, but it is difficult to find work here in Spain if it’s not teaching English. We always encourage people to look into online/remote work based on their expertise.
@@AG3Family thank you
You’re very welcome, we are happy to help!
He has a strong US mentality. 💔
😆Thanks for watching 🙏🏿❤️
Spain 🤔
It’s not a bad place at all. Thanks so much for watching 🙏🏿❤️
SPAIN IS A VERY LARGE COUNTRY. NOT ALL OF SPAIN IS, AS BAD AS, YOU'VE DESCRIBED IT. IT ALL DEPENDS ON, WHERE YOU GO TO IN SPAIN. EVERY COUNTRY HAS A NEGATIVE SIDE TO IT, INCLUDING AMERICA. WHY DON'T YOU VISIT BENIDORM'S OLD TOWN. MAYBE YOU'LL LIKE IT BETTER, THERE. BENIDORM IS A VERY POPULAR PART OF SPAIN FOR BRITISH PEOPLE.
No one discredited Spain, we love it here. As we mentioned in all our videos, there are good and bad sides to everything.
Ya drunk tourism in Benidorm 😂😂
THERE MIGHT BE SOME DRUNKS THERE BUT THE PLACE IS REALLY NICE.
@RS-ln3ns This conversation is hilarious 🤣 But we should add Benidorm to our list!
Hello, please come back to your country, Spain is not a good country believe me!!!! 😢😢
