I had my time in Ipswich driving for speedworth in 1966 I became the first lady driver to hold a licence for the ladies to perform in. My no was 154.susan Thorpe. A red and white Ford fiet. I loved the racing a lot but some men were hatating me on the track. Bu t people loves all this stuff. I had one car ramb me in the s Ide w e were stuck in the middle of the track while cars went b Oth side of us. We had to get out of the car if we could. Just imagine getting knocked over. Some of my friends. Skid parish. Norman crow. And a few others. 👍😁
