When did you first discover Beat Saber?
in 2020 when my teacher brought in he's Quest 2 to school so all the students could try VR and I ask him what's a good VR game to play and he said Beat Saber when I put that headset on I was blowd away by it it was so cool
Like you, I knew I had to play it after seeing that same viral Escape video. Big wow! Later saw them at SF Maker Fair in the late teens, but the line to try it was so long!
I didn't actually join the fun till the Quest 2 came out and made it more accessible though. Much as I yearned, I couldn't justify a whole VR PC just for BS. Now I can't get enough!
I'm so chuffed that Escape got a remake for their birthday. 😀
Your videos kept popping up on my TH-cam and I'd watch them. Saw that the game looked rather fun. Then one day, my brother asked me if I wanted to do halfsies on a Quest 2. I went ahead and agreed. First thing we downloaded was Beat Saber. Wanted to download custom songs and found modding the Quest version was a real pain in the ass. So bought Beat Saber off Steam and now I connect the Quest to my PC to play. Now that I primarily play Beat Saber with my PC, I'm wanting to buy a headset that tracks better, like what you got. I'll probably wait for the Index 2 comes out.
I first discovered Beat Saber when I came to one of your streams nearly four years ago. I enjoyed watching you play the game since.
Naysy popped up in recommendations, I checked it out and thought "Wow! I've got to get that!!!"
The second song sounded like chaos, and looked like chaos, and still you was able to get almost to the end of it! I am impressed by your skills. It looks effortless when you do it...
I have not tried this two songs yet, looking forward to testing them out this evening. But I will probably keep it to my level: hard or easy :D
I thought I was approaching your skill level. You have proven me incorrect, as you came close to beating one of the most ridiculous songs in the game on your first try. We’re all bound to have our crazy Beat Saber moments, but that has to be one of the best I’ve ever seen.
I know right? She puts it on expert+ but still has the excess brain-time to see the birthday cake at the end of the track? 😆 👏 bravo Naysy

the first of the song has gotten really easy for me, but the part at like 3min in the song is where I keep dying and cannot pass.

I discovered this game in Feb22 after getting to play at a friend's house. Fell in absolute love it with and bought an Index about a month later. Honestly, this game has helped my mental health so much by just letting me blow off steam in the safety of my own home. I didn't know how much I needed that.
The 100$ bills remix is definitely my new favorite map 😍😍 it's so much fun and flows so well

Beat Saber was one of the first games I bought when I got my HTC Vive back in 2018. I love this game so much :-) Thanks for the reaction playthrough! So much fun!

You playing that Hundred dollar bills remix on hard gave me strong Kingdom Hearts 2 flashbacks to the final boss fight where you had to button mash to block thousands of lasers....except you had to do it for real! That was amazing!

Totally with you and amazed by how far you got in the $100 bills remix. But then you said the words "screw Borderlands" and... felt like my heart was breaking! :P
I first discovered Beat Saber at a place called the "Arcade Club" (literally what it sounds like, a buttload of arcade machines on 3 floors, with some PC and VR stuff) and was entirely taken with it, so bought an Oculus Go... which... didn't support it. Played vicariously with whoever I saw at the time, but then went back to the Arcade Club and played again.
I'd bought the Quest 2 before I left.
Oh, and one day, I *will* get mixed reality working!!!! Even with your fantastic videos, I've still not managed it.

Some of the Camellia remixes sound like they put the original songs through a blender to me....
Took me four tries to get that Expert+ finish on $100 Bills, which was also four days cause after playing it once I need 24 hours to recover XD

i envy you. you have a pcvr and are eh good at the game. if only i had one, id be able to fc these maps with ease because of the quality of life you get there. ive passed both maps but theres a different fee when you are using custom sabers and possibly no particles and shit

7:16 around March last year I saw some linus video about quest 2 being great value or something and I was like well... That's interesting, but what can play on it? Is it worth it for me? Then I searched for beatsaber and I stumbled on your dance monkey video. I purchased the q2 and subscribed to your channel immediately after seeing it, 2 best decisions I ever made

2:48 is almost impossible with the Quest 2 version. Hook my Quest 2 up to my PC and play the PC version, I get through it just fine. I find tracking to be slightly better if I play the PC version. Not sure why. Went ahead and ordered an Index. Hopefully, my scores will improve and I'll fail much less.

When you said the s word when you lost the Camellia remix you reminded of my mother and me playing 8 ball pool and when she got a foul she said the s word and I said is that the first time I heard you say a bad word
Can you do another tutorial on how to do Custom song on beat saber because I can’t get bmbf to install the modded version of beat saber and even if I do open beat saber none of the mod stuff is there
Make sure you open beat saber 1 time first,then quit the game and open bmbf and go from there..its important you open the game first
