When I was at the Luxembourg heritage museum in Wisconsin, I learned a lot of people would just accuse a neighbor they didn’t like of witchcraft. Unfortunately a lot of people died.

Very moving honouring all the ladies and some men accused and murdered of witchcraft by the flags including the name of person accused. Exeter last place hung for witchcraft in England. ( The Great Courses)...called the Terror Of History & the Pagan World Witchcraft still is practiced in Russia to this very day The pledge of allegiance that we said in school goes back to the cold war ( 1954) The original version didn't have it

I'm going to try to keep this as short as possible, and I welcome anyone who reads this to comment. You talked about the "fear of witches" in this video and this has compelled me to write about something here that you may or may not have an interest in discussing for two reasons: little direct evidence and speculation. I hope that it leads to a topic at least on the subject of what I call "extreme black magic." Back in Gardner's day he sought to use Wicca against Hitler and Nazi Germany. I know that has largely been debunked but its still out there. More importantly, I'm interested in whether you or other witches have any info on Eva Braun, Hitler's mistress , and what possible black magic aid may have been in play here. Also, forwarding to today, Vladimir Putin has/had a mistress named Alina Kabaeva. There seems to be consistency here I'd like to know more about if possible. I should also add the strange but maybe insignificant fact that both Eva and Alina were athletes. I don't want to leave out "Dawnie" (Donald J Trump). His affair with adult film actress Stormy Daniels raises speculation as well. I know this is just one example for Dawnie, but Stormy has done some rather odd balled and even creepy films for her production Wicked Pictures such as "The Predator." Finally, Dawnie has been compared to Hitler. However, he claims to be inspired by Andrew Jackson, who I believe was a genocidalist. Feel free to comment especially if you think this information is topic worthy.
So fun fact about my nanas side when they entered America they had to change there last name quite a few times because they were hunted for being pagan/witches which was interesting to research as my ancestors is big for my paganism.
My previous local MP in Exeter, England tried to take to parliament for a formal pubic apology for the wrongly accused people and the total farce of a "fair trial" for essentially what was the genocide of mostly women. It wasn't taken up but Scotland has recently issued a formal apology am not sure where else it is going with it. Families from those descendants may have some claim to compensation so am guessing a huge can of worms opening there if this is the case.

Thing is the people put to death as “witches” wouldn’t have called themselves witches, they weren’t Pagan. “We are the grandaughters of the witches you couldn’t burn” is historically inaccurate.
The Scottish Parliament recently apologised for the Witch trials which took place in Scotland.
