Great video and I agree with you Mike. You must be able to turn off the reverse beeper as the same model I test drove didn’t do that. Did yours have side screen wipers as well? I thought that was a cool feature of that one I had seen. Last question. Are they automatic? As I was pushing the joystick to change when going down the road 🙈

I tend not to use auto mode because although masseys is pretty good some manufacturers auto modes are hideous to the point they either feel cruel on the machine or can leave u hung up and embarrassed
Great video Mike, I have to say the more I see of this new range the more I like the look of it. One thing I did notice was that all the spool valves were labelled with the same colour, could be a little confusing when hitching up implements. Great review. 👍

I like the bits sticking up from the floor to protect the front glass from feet or tools/ parts. Cab looks quite roomy particularly on the right side floor and it's about time they gave heating or cooling ducts to the feet. Visibility looks very good too.
Enjoy vid n liking new MF S8, interesting view with air vents n key start position. I can understand vents warm heat on feet n from side but I like vents in roof especially in summer n been similar setup like NH, I hope there’s good fan speed unlike NH

Personally I don't think the press release does it justice. Looks almost better in the flesh. From an operators perspective I thinks it's one of the best on the market and time will tell on reliability
Always do my very best to avoid Masseys, even walking close to them... Think it´s time to change my mind, realise things have happend since two of my neighbours bought MF 1080:s. We used to call them the tractors that came to stay, and they were very good at standing still :-)

i like the look of the thing but hate the quietness off the cab, still love the 7530 deere with the side window open. agree the ignition key seems in a place were your leg will always hit it surprised they aren't key less like most cars are these days.
There is a sunroof if u want to here more growl although it won't match a 75s. Yeah really don't like the key position. Can't see ur theory on keyless. Used to drive a keyless 7530. The ignition barrel was so worn the key used to rattle out and hide from u. Was easier to take it out and put it safe
@@hsagri69 haha can't say i've come across an ignition barrel that badly worn other than in a 90! my thinking with key less is you have the fob in your pocket so then you don't have ignition any were in the cab. like to think that would keep every one happy maybe??
You know me Mike i am not a fan of how modern tractors look but from the moment i 1st payed attention to this i thought it was very well designed and good looking bit of kit, i personally feel a lot of manufacturers are designing there new kit for the younger user thats why they look kind of space age stealth image kind of thing, but Massey seems to design more for a wide spread user and dare i say it us older generation seem to lean towards Massey for that reason, no idea of prices yet will be interesting to compare if i would give up a NH of the same spec.
I get the impression massey have talked with operators sat down and made it the best it can be from an operators point of view. All round Visibility is best in class by far. The ergonomics seems brilliant and in cab noise and comfort levels are probably best in class to. U know I'm a huge blue fan but I think nh have a little catching up to do
I like it including where the ignition key is the old position was, in my view, wrong! Sorry but each to his own. If it performs as good as it sounds and looks then it’s going to find a good customer base.
Well you’ve set the standard for 2021 now! Be good to see the Massey as smurfs stable mate 😁. I rather like the look of it and don’t mind the bonnet/cab gap. Strange seeing palm couplings on a Massey air brakes, usually on the German gear.

It is a real brave design and I don't think the press pics captured it well. It's really impressive in the flesh. There was supposed to be more from the drone but it threw it's toys and wouldn't record vids

Great looking tractor! It reminds me a bit of the 2000 Series from the 1980's with the silver cab. That brings me to gripe, why have MF dropped using silver on cabs and whgeels? Looks so much smarter in my opinion. The ignition switch, that's the best place for it and not on a post. As someone that doesn't like modern tech on tractors, I would happily try to learn and get on with this one. MF could be on to a winner with this beasty!
i like it a lot just wish they put the dash back on the steering wheel and move the ignition switch a bit higher since it looks fairly easy to kick it i prefer it there over the pillar tho like in the 7700 S
@@hsagri69 aye ye i think most of it is down to personal preference these days i just prefer it on the dash so its in front of u and doesnt block anything useful also im used to a 6465 tier 2 massey but the cab does look a lot bigger in fairness so maybe its better there i guess u dont really know until u actually sit in one

I actually like the dash up there because u have a clear view of it but that key looks very vulnerable. Its all down to personal preference though
